Coaching Nagi was an absolute pleasure and it was great to hear people enjoying this sort of content. Who knows, this might not be the last "noob deathmatch" :)

Truth be told, this is quite refreshing. Seeing lower player levels play and getting coached on what to do to help, but still letting them play.

The format is really enjoyable as a change from more polished matches. For the second half IMO it would be more interesting if you kept the players original builds (perhaps with some tweaks), to demonstrate how to improve the strategy they were originally going for, rather than just giving them a completely different build.

Watching on delay. Coaching was fun to watch. Suggestion would be to slow down the game on occasion and mostly explain why the coaches are recommending such actions. Not sure the noobs were understanding that ( and me neither).

Really great series, its good to understand why things are good/bad. It be great to understand why territory was kept so small, both had loads of influence. Thats my noob question 😂. Also i agree with others than it would be good if both games were played with the same races to see the specific improvements, though i like the idea of you guys making the races for them.

In the 2nd game both Montu and I expected the other to be very aggressive, meaning over expanding was going to hurt us. Nagi expanded enough to get a 2nd planet and a few stations for food production and naval cap. But everything past that is a waste of alloys.
@Tetley198510 ай бұрын
@@Jernsaxe Makes sense, would be great to understand what territory should be taken in a normal game. I wold assume most of us would grab everything we can! :D
@Jernsaxe10 ай бұрын
In general you want systems with useable planets and large mineral deposits in the early game. If you can get a nice choke point that also doesn't hurt. After that it is often best to save your influence to claim a neighbour and eat them @@Tetley1985

I feel like it's false advertising to say that the current beta is "3.11" given that they specifically stated it's the "technology beta". It's the same thing when they were testing out Industrial Districts. They weren't guaranteed to come, they were testing to see how it worked. It tested well, so they decided to add them to a proper patch. The new technology beta, however, is receiving very mixed reception. So it might not be implemented.

42:30 - stupid question, but I always thought the pops would automaticall switch to specialist jobs if those are avaiable? I play since several years, but I never did anything with my pops on new planets - seems like one of my many mistakes^^ So basically, if you get a new colony, you have to disable the colonists, make them unemplyed, and then they will take the specialst job faster? Correct?
@MarlKitsune10 ай бұрын
Yes disable the colonists to have specialists have priority(unless you have prioritized a worker job) Also they are suppose to not have priority. Colonists were specialist jobs and for some reason seem to still have that priority despite loosing that status.

Spoiler alert, they won't xD Unless they can each pull at least half of his fleet strength AND coordinate perfectly (which is unrealistic), they don't have a chance.

a year or couple ago I watched video when stellaris devs orginized some promo multiplayer session for bloggers who are not a stellaris players. it was really fun to watch.
@wedgeantilles857510 ай бұрын
Well, what will happen? Both players will spend HOURS upon hours of not doing a lot, definitly not fighting each other. Watching real noobs play against each other results in nothing happening for a real long time. That's already true in a "normal" RTS game like Starcraft and it will be even more true in Stellaris.
@wedgeantilles857510 ай бұрын
@@xKernel_official Yeah, because this stuff is (often) scripted. Or at least they bloggers know how to give a show. Real noobs do not know what to do - so nothing is happening at all. That is not fun to watch, that is just boring in the extreme.
