That's also a very weak statement if you talk about people. Pretty sure there are already enough humans on earth to outnumber the stars. P.S.: I was absolutely wrong, google says there are 200 Trillion stars. Good thing I never tried to count them.

Yeah, modularity looks like the vanilla choice but virtuality is the ultimate playing wide meta now !! (25% efficiency does not matter if you have unlimited pops)

In multiplayer it will be super op, but in single player if you do happen to reach 2400 it won’t be fun since you remove half the game by removing planet management

That Genesis Guides civic is honestly the highlight of the DLC for me. It's such a cool idea for a Civic. I just hope it'll give us the option to customize the pre-sapient species we create when we settle a world with a Genesis Ark, like naming them, picking their portrait, writing a biography and picking their traits. I love the idea of seeding an empty galaxy with custom species as a Human precursor civilization then doing the Cosmogenesis path and having my empire become a Fallen Empire. That's the first thing I'm going to try to do.

Boosting amenities 20% for 1 pt. is relatively pointless when cyber has 'durable' for 1 pt that cuts amenities needs in half so that you dont even need anyone working amenities jobs. Historically, running amenities increasing traits doesnt work well because its too difficult to get those specific pops to slot themselves into the correct jobs. The Durable strategy worked much better.

I like them all. I can't decide which path I like best. The neighborhood you spawn in has a big impact of the best playstyle. Pinned in with no room to expand? Go virtual. Plenty of room? Nanites! Need to maximize a specific advantage or compensate for an awkward imbalance of natural resources? Take a modular approach! It is great that there are meaningful choices to adapt to the different challenges the game gives you.

Getting 4 extra trait picks is crazy considering other ascensions only give 1 to 2 extra trait picks. I'm looking forward to trying each of these out and discovering what other new robotic and cyborg traits will do. There's only so much we can gleam from icons alone.

Damn, I would like to install those modular traits on my organic cyborg pops, especially the dark matter engines. Running that with dark consortium can make some overpowered pops while being able to pay for a good chunk of the dark matter upkeep, especially for a tech rush empire. I can imagine how overpowered tech rush with individualistic machines can be with modularity and dark consortium.

THIS IS SO COOL! I'm a little confused though, can synthetic (as in, biological becoming machine) also benefit from these new ascension paths? Can I turn a biological empire into a swarm of mechanical nanites? Or can only machine intelligences (starting machines) do this? Either way, this is so goddamn cool. I LOVE machines, this is by far the most hyped I've EVER been for a game PERIOD. Yall are really cooking. Love from Florida!

From what i read about in the dev diary, not really. It seems that when you are becoming synthetic you will get to make some choices that could leave you as a weaker version of one of these. But idk its been a while and so i could be wrong

@@Person67 What? No, there is literally a new origin for individualistic empires that dovetails into a synthetic ascension where they talked about being able to do all three. The expanded cybernetic and synthetic stuff is for all empires.

With the increase to the number of traditions/ascension paths I would highly recommend increasing the base amount that you can choose. increase from 8 to 10 ^.^
