Peaches' looks and reactions crack me up. At 17:52, when you went to pet her, she was like "hey, what're you doing man?!" And then she proceeds to look at the camera like, "do you believe this guy?" She's got the best mean mug I've ever seen. 😠😂 Just love her!

I wrap sticky tape around bent stems and it works most of the time. I recently did that with a monstera albo stem that bent in shipping and it worked great.

I always use a push pin to make a small hole and use a pocket knife to make them larger :) love the video!

😂😂😂 I love your rigged up backs, they look just like many of my props/air layerings I rarely sanitize pots. I like to think I’m toughening up my plants by letting them have some “exposure” and non perfect conditions

Yeah I'm probably on the same page re: pots haha

This was a great video! I wasn’t sure if you will use the clear space balls again because the moss dries out so quickly. Would it be possible to run a wick up from the Lecca into the ball? My props in baggies look terrible.

Definitely a giggle thanks Pete 🤣 Good tips there too thanks mate 😁 Let us know how Nessie and the rest go.

The Melano is going off 🐸🧦 she's given me 4 new leaves the latest is a little bigger and looks fab but the Brandtianum is stuck in struggle town, a few small deformed leaves that died off but she's trying to come back, she's not down and out yet! Frankly the opposite of my expectations 🤣 don't you love how plants continue to surprise you?

Beard is starting to look fabulous again!👍🏽 Entertaining as always. Time to add some grafting tape to the supply box. 😂

Haha thanks, mate. Guess I need to cut it then, huh? lol I'll try to get my hands on some grafting tape asap then. A few other commenters mentioned it too I think.

@@petevsplants7516 heck no. Let it flow!Be fall soon in your part of the world. Keep ya warm. Unfortunately I can’t seem to grow a fabulous beard. After a couple inches, I get issues. Lol. Have to trim it up then.

I know I´m late to the party but for the air-layering ball, you could maybe close the ends up with something, a peace foam could work well to not squeeze the stem but still reduce the drying out.

What is the name of the activated charcoal you us for the fresh cut stems? I'm looking for something for future propogations..
@lindsey4178 Жыл бұрын
Could you please explain the activated charcoal? I hadn't heard of using it before but does it work the same as honey or aloe to disinfect? Or does it have some other purpose?

Maybe super glue would work it's quite strong and once it dries it'll becomes very rigid so you might save a snapped leave maybe...hell I use it on myself instead of stitches...food for thought!
