Hi, Gerri. I'm not really sure. I purchased mine from a wholesaler when I owned a quilt shop. I would suggest you ask your local quilt store to see if they can order one for you. If they can't, try dickblick.com or Amazon. Hope you're able to get your hands on one, they're amazing.

Question- what about already existing upholstery like on a chair for example- what about the ironing part if a shiva is used on something like that? Is it necessary or?

Hi, You would still want to use all of the same techniques shown- so if ironing is required with the paint stick you are using, then yes, you would still need to do that. Cheers, Ashley National Quilters Circle

Hi Yvonne. Unfortunately, they are not. For years I was told that I was "way before my time" when it came to all of the techniques I used and espoused. Things are finally catching up in popularity! I did have those stencils manufactured about ten years ago but they were never very popular so when I sold out of them I never had another batch made up. So sorry. I will be publishing a pattern through this site with paper copies of some of those old stencils along with how to make freezer paper stencils from them along with info on how to design your own. It will be about a month until I have that pattern done and will likey take some time for the powers that be at the site to work their magic on them so that they are downloadable . So, give it a couple of months and yes, they will be available, but you'll have to do some work on your own to use them.

What knife are you using

Hi, It is called a fingertip swivel knife. There are several different brands of them available and they can be purchased at many craft and fabric stores or online. Cheers, Ashley
