Hi Jordy... That was a great talk through of why you did certain adjustments...the eagle is coming along nicely...it's wonderful you have folks to give you tips and encouragement...and yes we all wish we could chime in while you're working..however it would be a cacophony of voices and you would have to shut us out..lol... Carving the wood spirit in the background gave purpose to the eagle. It looks like an eagle with an attitude. The angle of the eyes and the wing shoulders being high looks like he's got an attitude about something. And who wouldn't have an attitude if a wood spirit had moved into your nook. Great work! The round Kutzall bit looks like it’s perfect for doing the undercut behind his head. Thanks for the warning about it breaking the flex shaft on a Dremel.

Jordy, taking the eagle head down makes it look more like a thunderbird which I like and when a eagle dives the head looks that way. Besides the eagle in the first picture knew how to get ready for the photo, the second eagle had a rough trip and didn’t groom himself 😊😊

what makes an eagle look like an eagle is the white head that ends with flared feathers at the neck, more than anything I find this the most important part
