I can only speak from my perspective and also am very new to carving but I liked this video because the shots of wood removal were more like how I experience carving. When you carve your wood spirits in bark (I don't have access to bark of that sort) it's like a hot knife through butter but when I go to carve my typically "dog piss wood" the going is waaay slower. Love your presentation you could probably talk about paint drying and i'd still watch it xD.
