I'm 42 now and I've worn a flat cap since I was 20. But it's only in the last 3 months I've started to bother with the rest of my clothes. I get complements all the time now. Shoes are the key. Start from the ground up. There is good advice on this channel. It might be overwhelming at first but small steps. And don't forget most people are consumed with themselves not you.

I would throw a couple more tips from my own experience out there. 1. For those men out there who don't have a lot of disposable income: grab items lightly used or new without tags. I went on eBay, put those filters in along with my jacket size, & I bought three lightly used blazers for the price of a new one I got at Moore's. 2. O'Keefe's Hand Cream is great on big pores & on lifting your eyes. P.S.: Agree about Billy Idol. XD

I've started using a tailor for many item of clothing. However, I've lost my hair around 23 so I decided to go bald, after watching one of your videos. I've gotten compliments about that. I also want to bring a point about genuine articles vs cheap ones. I have a friend who's been into jackets, and has bought a bunch of cheap jackets that are low quality leather. His jackets have started to break apart. I splurged and got a higher quality (and had to pay more) but mines lasted 3 years so far. However I do think he needs to do better maintenance with his, but that's my observation

24 here. I live in Phoenix so it’s hot here from April-September. I have a complete custom tailored wardrobe that fits me impeccably that took me about 6 months to achieve. Absolutely worth it. I lean more towards minimalist sophisticated street casual with a touch of elegance. My color palette is neutrals only + earthy tones and the last 10 percent of my wardrobe is statement pieces or pieces that give a pop of color.

I’ve been physically fit and been running and training in martial arts for over 20 years. I’ve maintained the same weight through my 30s and 40s. I never had defined abs, arms or pecs at any time. However, I started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 3 years ago. Since then, I’ve developed defined pecs, arms and even a six pack! I’m now 48 and working with real functional musculature when I am least concerned about looks! 😅

Hey Antonio! Not sure if you'll read this a lot, but I stumbled upon your channel last week, because I have just been feeling in a rut style-wise. I'm 28 (29 next week), in Grad School, and surrounded by a bunch of students 10 years younger than me. It's been kind of hard feeling so much older than everyone, so subconsciously I think I've reverted more to graphic tees and sweatpants, etc. But I don't feel good in them! I made the decision to start embracing the fact that I'm a little bit more mature, and want to dress the part too. Your videos have helped me look at this phase of my life as an incredible opportunity for growth. I've been revamping my wardrobe, dressing better, getting into fragrances, and just feeling more confident. I can honestly say, when I look down the road at 30 and beyond, instead of being scared, I'm excited by where I will be as a MAN, not a kid, and a big part of it is thanks to you. I've been recommending your videos to other guy friends around my age, and it's crazy how much of your content seems to resonate with them was well. Best page on KZbin! Keep it up. Hey Buddy, I took your advice a while back on the Collar Support, to keep the collar high and crisp looking. Great investment. Having a dress shirt spread out like a pajama top or 70s disco, kills me. So these things are awesome. It's like a formality you don;t notice that gives you an aura of authority. I think you can take inspiration from some of Antonio's videos even if they're not specifically tagged to your age. Like I've seen the mention a couple of times of a solid T-shirt with V neck, a cool pair of boots with the right jeans and a belt. He also has a video about the more sophisticated way of wearing hoodies, which go well with sneakers. You can bring in some polos, simple shirts, or have fun with bold patterned shirts if it matches your taste. A simple informal outfit idea (inspired by the German movie Die Welle): white sneakers, well fitted solid jeans and white shirt - you can leave the top button undone, and roll up the sleeves. (It's always a good idea to wear shirts with undershirt, especially if the shirt is white and has some transparency.) Regarding pants, you don't need to stick to jeans, I think you can try some chinos. Ok, it was university, but I remember a freshman rocking the outfit of brown leather shoes, khaki chinos and bright blue shirt, and it didn't make him look old at all, rather made him classy. You can also look up pictures of famous people in their youth, and use what seems to work now, too. E.g. James Dean looked great in jeans, simple close fitted white T-shirt, and dark jacket combo. You can walk in stores and experiment with different outfits, combinations, see how they make you look and feel, maybe take pictures in front of the mirror and show them to someone with sense of style, or ask them to go with you, if have such person around you - a good friend, or a family member (Antonio often mentions it was his sister in his case). And always keep in mind that "fit is king".

I find the experimental mindset good, although I can over hit the mark. For example, I got a nice blouson leather jacket. The brown is quite bright. I'm pushing myself wearing it, and I don't know if it'll stick, but that's just part of the growth process.

I'm glad you mention the infamous, do anything for money David Beckham (it's easy to see what went wrong there, in your example) his wife is dressing him in her clothes...de-maning him, he makes for the worst example of how to dress for a man VERY obviously(including in other clothing as well), it's good to see the days of the skinny celebrity ponce are over, & to some extent, the MAN'S look has made a come back -Dwayn Jonson, Idris Elba, & even Jason Statham, Chris Hemsworth (a bit boy faced there, but you can't have everything) to name just a few

Where i live their are no tailors, i never ever even talked to a tailor. In order to get a tailor i have to travel go Gothenburg, i refuse to go to big cities. At home i dress in Mossy oak, it suits me. At work i wear hard hat and steeltoes, i sit in a excavator. I shave my head every sunday, take away nosehair and eafhair, i shave every Wednesday and Friday. I haven't visited a barber for 20 years. Why can't you do a video about us who do not sit in an office and wear a suit.

Is it possible to tailor 32/32 pants to 30/32? Aren't they gonna look weird? I find that many brands have different meaning on 32/32. I order online. Some pants 32/32 fit perfect or barely fit. (On waist) And some pants 32/32 are completely baggy. I don't get it. They are like 34/32 or something.
