Thank you for amazing education it helped me so much. I just wonder ; after all the acid peels skin gets very sensitive to sunlight and its more likely to produce spots . If you only recommond a cleanser and aloe gel ; where would the sunscreen go? If we say we shouldnt put a layer so the skin can shed and breath; isnt it a bit dangrous to the skin? it means no suscreen and spot sensitivity.

This actually depends on the specific company and type of peel you use. You have to be mindful of your clients and let them know the risks of what can happen during the peel process should they not follow your instructions. Different manufacturers have different protocols for how you need to handle their products and what you need to advise to your clients when you use their products. If your client is compliant with what you are saying, then generally they won’t have a problem.

Thank you for this video! I'm a new Esthetician and chemical peels intimidate me. I learned a lot from your videos. I'm also in my 40's so I learn a lot about my own skin. what else is in the healing gel? its 98% aloe and what else? Can you just use aloe vera gel?

I hope 11 months later you are doing great in your job. Chemical peels are amazing, just need to choose the right peel amd the right candidate. They are so old yet they can give results similar to technology like lasers
