Another excellent video Mark - Just ordered a Waterbox 3620 I hope it’s as decent as you’re opinions in the old videos 😊 Can’t wait really looking forward to finally being able to do an AquAscaper rather than just watching the videos 😊

Hey Geordie, when you scape the tank. Do you already have plant choice in mind already, or was it an afterthought? Because this is where I am a tat bit struggling what plants to choose, specially the more you do research, the more plants you discover.
@GEORDIESCAPER3 ай бұрын
Most of the time, I have a plant plan in mind. Sometimes, if it's more complex hardscaping, I'll choose the plants afterwards. Stick to the easier, commonly used plants at first, would be my advice.

Hello Geordie , i love your videos. Such a talent. Can I ask you something about oase 350 thermo filter? After some time my filter slows down, i am cleaning my pre- filter regularly . Main filter not. Might it be that problem ?
@GEORDIESCAPER3 ай бұрын
Hi there and thank you so much. I usually rinse the main filter media in tank water every 4 to 6 months. The blue pre filter sponges clog quite easy so I clean these religiously once a week. Anything past a week and I do notice the flow slow down. Most my filters now have the orange sponges which tend not to clog up as quick although I still clean them weekly. It's important to clean the hosing regularly too as this can slow flow when they begin to clog. Hope this helps.

Beautiful tank! Thanks for showing how tanks evolve - plant choice can be corrected and you shouldn't get discouraged.
@GEORDIESCAPER3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much. Totally agree, I often chop, change, and add plants as the scape evolves.

I've seen Amano, in person, do several aquascaping demos. He always fussed over that front soil line to make sure it was perfectly straight. You just keep doing it. 🙂

Thanks you. Deliberately kept the intro short and snappy. It's my aim to have most videos with my in them or narrating. Thanks for sticking around👍👍
