being a carpet and upholstery cleaner since 1984 ... Always do 2 dry strokes to every rinse stroke with the wand. Your upholstery will be much drier when you are done. especially when using a portable. The Mytee is one of the best brand extractors out there. Also if when you are not draining the tank, turn the elbow up so it is pointing up, this will keep it from dripping on the ground or in the van.

So use the rinse stoke once and then go over that area twice without the rinse?

The machine he’s using is by Mytee. You can buy it from them or use kleen right. That machine is a top of the line. But you don’t need that one. They have a mytee lite. You can get one for around $600-800. Just make sure you get the one that has a heating element. Meaning it heats up the water. We use the one just below what he’s using. And we do around 3-4 details a day.

Bro, I been battling life figuring out which path I’m going to take and most important it’s the path God wants me to take but, seeing your videos truly do inspire me to do this in my area and really take over because there’s a small competition of detailers in my area and the ones who do detail aren’t going big, they aren’t wrapping their vehicles, really going commercial set ups, and charging premium prices. You really break things down to the best of your ability which someone like me appreciates because I need every detail I can to make sure I can do be best work I can. Thank you man for making these videos and keep going, I’m trying to grow with you as well, and someone who hasn’t detailed a car a day of his life, I’m starting to learn more hopefully and maybe that this can be a side passion that can turn into something. Be blessed bro

Was thinking bout those rubber mats last time detailing those U Hauls. What about a way to hang them off the van? Or a table?
@xNovaBattlex3 жыл бұрын
If you go on amazon and search Car Wash Mat Clamps there's some metal he could buy. And what a lot of people do is they add magnets to the back of the clamp with either a strong glue or 3M so then they can just slap the clamp on the van since its magnetic and hang the mats to dry that way

How do you deal with sweat when detailing, I’ve started a year ago, and my shirts end up soaking in sweat! Any tips ?
@Tieaga3 жыл бұрын
I'm a landscaper trying to start up mobile detailing. I'm not sure how well it will transfer over but my company gives us those lightweight material shirts kind of like dry fit. I'm in Houston so it's hot and humid and I also sweat a lot. Those shirts breathe well and dry fast. As for your head wear a hat, bandana, or a stretchy face mask. It's shaped like a tube and pulls down over your head. It can be worn on top of your head like a bandana but easier. It's also lightweight and wicks sweat. Hope that helps
