I used a smaller hook for the arms! If I made the body with 4.5, I would use a 3.5 - or 3 sized hook so that they would look less wonky.

Definitely recommend making this, for all the people clicking on this video and looking at the comments to see what others think. Oh! And I made my first turtle out of your tutorial for how to crochet a turtle. Turned out again so cute! You really are such a great crochet KZbinr, and just a KZbinr in general! Keep up the great work.

Hey! I just discovered you through YT shorts, and I think it’s so cool you have these patterns as videos. I crochet, and amigurumis are actually the first things I got into making, though I was making them with acrylic yarn and they were much smaller lol. Idk why it took me until your videos to realize you can make them bigger haha. I noticed you’re on hiatus from custom orders, and initially I was disappointed but then I remembered I could just make them myself lol. And then I checked your shop and saw the cat bit and realized that because I’m allergic it probably wouldn’t be the smartest thing anyway, so I’m glad I can crochet them myself at least lol. I’m really thankful for these pattern videos!!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I was originally planning to make only one ghost for my boyfriend's new baby brother, but I fell in love with the design, so I decided to make his entire family one! I used the same yarn but different hooks for each one, so they all slightly varied in size. I even managed to make them look like a small family (his mother's was the biggest, his was the middle, and his baby brother's was the smallest)! ❤❤❤❤

Is there any way you could help with Round 11? The one where you go through back loops only? Because Round 10 [SC, 2DC, SL ST] x 7 in FLO gives me 28 stitches, but following Round 11 [SC, DEC] x 7 in BLO (14) I end up not completing the round! There are too many stitches left! I must be crocheting into stitches that I shouldn't be, but I cannot figure it out. I've tried it twice now. I was super careful to count every single stitch in the other rounds and they all worked perfectly, but I can't figure this one out. I noticed there was a cut in the video between Round 10 and 11, and I can't tell where you've placed your stitch marker. It looks way farther away from your hook than mine does, even though I placed it in the last stitch from round 10, which was a slip stitch. Do the slip stitches from the previous round not count as stitches?
@themaryjay
@themaryjay Жыл бұрын
It seems to me based on what you wrote that the issue is that you're trying to work the next round on top of the round that was made in the front loops only. You should be working in the back loops only of the previous round, not on top of the round that was made with the front loops. So one row is made in the front loops only and the next row is in the back loops only of the same stitches that you worked in the front loops, but this time in the back loops (just completely ignore the round you made in the front loops). The previous round before you worked in the front loops only has 21 stitches, so if you work in the same round but this time in the back loops, you should end up with 14 stitches by decreasing 7 of the stitches. I hope this makes sense and helps you out!

I use it for cold drinks almost like a jacket for the,. I am even making one for my aunts baby shower! If you want to make a jacket for your drink, just end it at the ruffles and it works amazing!

Are you working in the back loops of R10 or R9? You should be working in the back loops of R9, in the same stitches that you worked in when you made R10, but instead of the front loops like in R10, you're working in the leftover back loops. Essentially, the folds should be left alone and you should be working underneath them if that makes sense! I hope this helps!
