I'm gonna be honest, I was nervous when I saw he was casted for this dance... Because rather than ballroom, I feel like he shines more in jazz, musical theater, hip hop... like the other dances they were also recreating. But DAMN. This was amazing. A bit of contemporary, a bit of ballroom, some soft break dance moves. Their styles complemented each other so well, they nailed it. And it was beautifully choreographed 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@@zscorpion9577 Basically Derek and Julianne Hough made a movie that included a bunch of dance numbers inspired by iconic dances from movies. Beauty and the beast, Chicago, Dirty dancing, Saturday night fever, La la land, etc. And recreated those dances but giving them their own spin. They casted different dancers for different movies. Harry was casted for beauty and the beast.

Nice to see Harry Shum Jr. dancing still. Hired originally on Glee for his dancing ability like Heather Morris was, they both over time were given the opportunity to sing and act more on the show (Morris first, Shum later). However, both excelled in all the things they did.
