Great video! Just wanted to say that step doesn’t actually improve their credit score until they turn 18. They keep track of all the history made up to that point, and when the person turns 18 Step will then improve their score. Another thing thing is that step added this round up savings feature which means purchases can be rounded up to the next dollar but all the spare change will go to there savings account. (Ex: let’s say I bought something for 3.20, I would be charged 4 dollars and the extra 80 cents would got to my savings profile in step) Sorry this comment was so long but I wanted to share this information 😅😅😅

@@BluePandaOG To use tap to pay, you'd have to add your Step card to the app you're using for tap to pay (usually Google or Apple Pay), so yes, it works, but it's outside the Step app.

Oh wait did you mean tap to pay with the card? YES you can do that too! The card has the 3 curved lines on it (looks like a wifi symbol) so that means it works for tap to pay! I should make a video about that. 😁

how long did it take for your chase account to link to step? I tried and step gave me a message that said my bank didn't give permission to link to step, but I also received an email from chase saying that I have agreed to share data with step. I'm wondering if it's just a time thing where it will take 1-3 business days on step's part to link, or if there is an actual problem.

On your account you can merge two or more accounts and cards so on your phone you can add her phone acc to the one you made and merge them together to where she can have access to the card you made on her phone. I did this when I had made an account with my mom and I didn't have a phone but when I got it I had to figure out how to combine them of so sort to have it on my phone

No, you can't use an ATM to deposit. You can only take money out at an ATM.

Sorry, it's only for US residents. I would suggest looking into bank accounts for teens available in Canada. Banking is very country-specific.

If you got a paper check, there's no way to get it into Step directly at the moment. They don't have any way to deposit a paper check. So you would need to cash it or deposit it into another bank and transfer it into Step. The only way to get a paycheck directly into Step right now is to set up direct deposit with your employer.

No it dosnt, it dosnt let u go over the amount you have on your card. For example if you have $5.73 on your card and your spending $6.73 it won’t go through since you don’t have enough money. So no it will not lead to debt 💸
