What I love most about it is that he leaves after BDG says it can be used for every song because it thrives in counts of four, BUT he reappears during the waltz episode and is really good at it. The waltz is in 3:4 time.

Commenting here to say KEEP WATCHING. This series is by far BDG's most underrated work and currently my favorite thing he's ever made. There is more to it than it seems at first so just keep going even if you don't love it from the get-go. I thought at first it was initially 7 parts because people lost interest, but it is actually a completed work with a wonderful ending.
@xarxos52742 жыл бұрын
People often tend to overuse the phrase "underrated", but it really is true in regards to this series. These videos are among the least viewed on Brian's channel, but it's some of his most genuine and multi-layered work to date. It's funny and entertaining but also emotionally deep in a way that you'd never expect. There are also so many lovely metaphors between the dance moves and the story, you can discover more every time you rewatch it!

SPOILER: Knowing that later in the series that Brian has to move, probably due to discontent with his job, makes the song hit wayyy different. And, the fact that in the end, the only thing that gets him through is to keep moving on? God, how is this work of art so amazing, and why does this make me so sad? :'(((

I'm watching Bdg, as he dances and acts his little heart out, as a coping mechanism as to heal the pain that is derived from me being deprived of musical theatre for 2 years now. Ever since since the virus hit, my theatres shut and my drama group split. I was suppose to be doing a musical this year and it was going to be a production I hold dear, but that was all thrown down the drain and I'm going quite insane and I feel a rising pain- Oh shit, I did it again, the theatre-kid-out-of-theatre-for-longer-than-anticipated disease is finally hitting.
