Hello, I am a viewer from China. I very much approve of your philosophy and kindness towards birds. On the other hand, many people on my side are still stubbornly insisting on raising parrots with the wrong concept, and never participate in any training with parrots. The living environment of parrots is worrying, and there are almost no experts in parrot behavior research. Luckily, after watching your videos, I learned a lot and keep growing, thanks again

What an interesting bird. I wonder if some birds are just not motivated by treats. (Like some dogs prefer praise and affection instead of treats.) Maybe she is responding to the encouragement and 'praise of the clicker' and perhaps a random treat? You are so patient with her, that is a treat for us to see. Thank you for all your tips. (btw I have an umbrella cockatoo and love him to bits-even when his "calling his flock to roost" in the evening makes my ears ring. I just remind him I am 10 feet away--lol)

Fennel is an interesting project bird because it's not the behavioral problems that bother me, it's just the absolute ignorance she has for humans that causes me to get anxious.

I have a 15 year old female eclectus parrot and she is a dream bird. She can fly but chooses to walk. We haven’t closed the door to her aviary in 8 years. She goes and comes as she pleases and she’s great with my nephews and nieces.
