If Giannis doesn’t win the championship this year, the frustration will continue to mount. He’ll then be heading into his final year, so Milwaukee might have to trade him before he hits free agency in the summer of 2021. IF they have to trade him, there will be few teams with a better package than the Warriors. They’ll have whatever young draft pick they get in this upcoming draft, they have Wiggins, and if they really had to, they could even throw in Draymond. On top of all of that, Giannis can make a short list of places he would resign if he was traded there, and if Golden State is on it, with the package they can offer, he’s essentially forcing his way there. That’s what happened with Carmelo to the Knicks, Dwight to the Lakers, and AD to the Lakers. It’s by no means a sure thing, but the foundation has been laid
