Once he signed with Cavs got an all star Klove to jounand had the all star MVP Kyries as his teammate. Let's not act like LeBron didn't trade away Lakers young core. The rings in Miami made him top 10 all time. The ring in Cleveland made him top 3 all time. The ring in LA made him top 2 all time. If he breaks Kareems scoring record and becomes top 5 in assists PLUS wins another ring, he will be the G.O.A.T. Getting another ring as the 1st or 2nd option in year 20+ would push him over the top. Then if he ends it playing with Bronny, it would be the perfect career. His documentary would be incredible.

Revisionism of NBA History and All Time Greats needs to be done badly; we have to stop all this mythology and narratives that the league and media have always created around their league faces in the different Era's, inflating their status over their real Impact.. There's just no way Kareem is regarded as an All Time Top3 in that list when that man was able to win just 1 Ring in the weakest Era of all time by very very far, as the talent was divided into 2 leagues, and his career was literally saved by Magic as Kareem could not even make it to the Finals for 5 years before Magic arrived and even worst, did not even make the Playoffs for 2 consecutive year while in his prime.. it is shameful. Same happened with Wilt Chamberlain whom despite playing around the most talented teams since 1966 to 1973 he only managed to win 2 Rings, including after joining LA and forming the first Big3 in history playing with 2 other MVP caliber players... And same with Lebron James whom was absolutely unable not only to win a Ring but to even get to the Finals, despite winning for 2 consecutive years the RS in '09 and '10 with 66 and 61 wins plus both MVP's and therefore had to move and join 2 other superstars in a move not seen since Wilt's.. and still after that move, Lebron got swept in '11 by a DAL team led by a 33yo Dirk as the only All-Star on the team while Lebron averaged less than 18ppp... and again had to keep joining superstars chosen by finger to win in CLE and with the help of the league that gave 3 Nº1 Draft picks in just 4 years that Lebron utilized to create another super team.. On the other hand, History, league and media don't treat other players as they should, players that have really prove to have a much greater Impact than the players above, like for example Bill Russel, Tim Duncan or Steph Curry. What do have in common Wilt, Kareem and Lebron despite having moved to LA? well the 3 of them were the Face of the league at their time and the 3 of them put up impressive numbers but the problem is that those numbers did not translate into real domination or real impact, that is, into Winning... therefore none of those 3 players were even able to create a Dynasty. What do Bill Russell, Duncan and Curry have in common besides playing their whole careers with the team that drafted them and besides being undervalued badly by history¿? well none of them were regarded as the face of the league because of their game style, their numbers and their personality but on the other hand these 3 players were the one's that really had an Impact on their teams and in the game of basketball and therefore really dominated their Era's creating Dynasties.

When Kd first went to the warriors, people said the rings don’t count repeatedly and as far as people respecting Kd’s basketball character (not personal life character) he took the heat and isn’t respected much. But when it comes to the all time ranking I see most people including myself having him somewhere between 12-18 BECAUSE he is a 2 time champ and 2 time fmvp which is where pretty much all the people with a total of 5 mvps, rings, and fmvps are ranked. So he isn’t really taking a hit in the all time rankings bc the players and even media still treat his rings as equal when it comes to ranking even if they roast him. Without those he’d prob be somewhere in the mid 20s to mid 30s. So if he wins another 2 rings and fmvps by going to the warriors, I think he’ll be forever roasted and memed but when the lists come out he’ll be pushed to 9-11. Honestly if I was a player I think I’d care more bout where people rank me at the end of the day (how good they think my career was) than a few jabs at me here and there.

Kevin Durant has the skill set of a top 10 player ever but if he never wins a title out of Golden State he will never actually be top 10. Before his ring in Cleveland LeBron wasnt top 10. Now hes top 3. Thats Durants motivation. AND thats how the world will view him even years from now. "1 on 1 he'll beat anybody but he got 4-5 rings as the ultimate ring chaser"

Nah Bron was a consensus top 10 to most people after the 2nd ring from mostly everyone ik in my day to day life and pretty much every one of these sports analyst INCLUDING skip bayless (had him 9th in 2015 still has him 9th today tho lmao). The 4 mvps played a huge role. Most people even in the 6-10 had only 1 or 2 mvps. Cleveland title pushed him to top 3. I think Lebron heightened his basketball character and the general respect people had to him immensely by winning back in Cleveland. But had he won 2 more titles with the Heat he’d still prob be top 3 but maybe 3 instead of what most people think which is 2. Respect and ranking are different. Kd could win 4 rings on the warriors and get 4 fmvp with his mvp and become a top 10 player but people won’t love him the way they love most top 20 players.
