Cant forget about what would’ve been the perfect season in 2016. His “suspension” was the trickle down effect of the momentum shifting and injuries to other players when the series should’ve been over in 5 games. Because he wants to bring MMA to the NBA. The fact that Steph is even cool with him befuddles me. He cried outta frustration last year when Draymond got a tech in a game vs Orlando.

Glad they didn't. Cause it's obvious Melo wouldn't have thrived on GS under Steve Kerr. It's obvious to see Kerr was always going to favor his Veterans. Even if they did draft Melo, he would've been forced to play the Podz role. A secondary ball handler taking open 3s instead of being the primary ball handler & 1st option like we're seeing him now. I rather Melo play freely & shine like he suppose to be.

They gave him that big extension as a farewell instead of bringing help for a reason. They gotta do the same for curry. One more big contract extension as a farewell or try to get Giannas.

True, but what's the point in giving 30 to 50+ games with a team that can't even match your points? The warriors as a whole are not doing enough to help Steph, they're all inconsistent and they lack to much. they one, have to many guards, they don't have a big guy, they don't have nobody to control the floor, defensively and offensively they're a weak team. Majority of their players are under 6'5 aswell and on top of that they play the same screens over and over that teams are able to predict it. Steve Kerr and not utilizing them at all especially Steph.

I don’t think people would even care if Steph won a championship somewhere else. It wouldn’t even get mentioned 10-20 years from now when we talk about him and his legacy. His whole story is in Golden State and always will be. It would be like if Tim Duncan left the Spurs after 2015 and won a championship somewhere else. 99% of the documentary would be about the Spurs days, and the extra championship would be a 30 second “oh and he did this too” segment just thrown in there

Draymond needs to go in order to attract players. No players want to willfully go to the Warriors. I think the reason is Draymond. They went after a lot of players in the off season and they all said no.

It’s so funny how we talk so much about guys leaving, how player movement hurts the game-and here you have a guy who’s been with a team for 15 teams that delivered him a great roster for nearly a decade that was able to win 4 chips and if not for injuries in 2019 and one crazy comeback in 2016 could’ve won 5 straight chips…and we’re talking about he’s trapped. No man, you don’t always gotta leave and go somewhere. Steph with the Warriors is Kobe with the Lakers and Bird with the Celtics is Duncan with the Spurs. You can’t just keep making moved to extend a dynasty *THAT* long. 2015-2022. That’s a 7 year championship dynasty, one year shorter than the Showtime Lakers. Idk man, that sounds good enough to me. And as much as I’d love to see Steph go to my Lakers, he should stay in his team. They have each other everything.

I doubt anyone will see/respond to a post. Everyone demands the Warriors have to do something for Steph. Do what? Get help? How? If your team is up against the cap to stay under it not just draft picks, its roster talent going out. If that isn't expiring contracts then the receiving will want talent. So what happens when you do that? You become the Phoenix Suns. 2 1/2 stars with an incomplete starting 5 and no 2nd unit. Steph makes more off the court than on. If he seriously wants one more ring, I'd ask, if under the CBA, if(?) he can restructure his contract this summer to add one more season, but no new money, the Warriors instead of paying him $60 mil/yr for 2 seasons they play $40 mil/yr for 3, would that allow an easier way to get a better roster without giving up an entire roster thus become the Suns? He can have whatever days he wants off that final season to go to his daughter's events or be a player coach in a transitional season. Would that be worth it for one more realistic try for #5?
