look into kevin cadogan he’s the guy who made stephan a star
@@hobojungle1 Kevin Cadogan definitely played a role in the direction the music took but I think his stans are a bit obsessive and vindictive about it. Do I think SJ handed Kevin the short end of the stick? for sure. Do I think Kevin deserves credit for his contribution? Yes. The combination of the two of them was definitely magic not to mention Valentine as a producer. But a lot of Stephan's big songs had already been written and were a work in progress before 3EB was ever formed so it's weird how they make it sound as if the band would've never found success without Kevin.

Yeah, he single-handedly ruined a lineup that had unreal promise. Burned all bridges with those closest to him. At least we got a few albums of that goodness. Not to say the newer stuff is bad or anything. Fwiw, and take it with a grain of salt, but I’ve met him a few times and he’s really just…a prickly dude. He kinda sucks. But he is who he is and I can’t fault him. Anyway, you hit the nail on the head.

Yes, Yes, Yes "Losing on whole year" best song of the album, period. This track has been my anthem since my late teenage years through the whole twenties. I can literally visualize myself being this clueless 19 years old guy who can't stop playing in call of duty BLACK OPS (LOL). Now ,I am in my late twenties approaching 29 singing this tune on the top of my lungs with my future wife almost every night. Stephan you are getting age like a fine wine. Great podcast. Interview conducted very profesionally. Love 3EB. I have to admit it as well that "Out of the Vein" is the most underrated album of all time. Best, from Poland. Łukasz

@@heatherthomas9497 Agree! I I think this should be the album title as Jenkins wanted to be. A very personal ballad for Charlize Theron! "I want to be your diamond ring. I wish we knew what possibly interpersonal issues existed in the first place between SJ and KC, and then SJ and TF…then SJ & AS (am I missing any?). If they were cool with each other interpersonally, we’d still see the original lineup(s). I guess we’ll never know the shit. Unless I don’t know something that’s been put out there from at least one side of the stories.

This idea that Stephan doesn’t lament the past, ponder what he’d do differently, or have any level of nostalgia is complete bs, as is his pedantic response bloviating about purpose. Both things can exist - and do - with everyone. I can’t stand him. But I love 3eb’s music, for which he’s obviously been the driving force. It’s a delicate balance. Very much appreciated this interview though.
