Please bring John Gray (not the pastor). He wrote 'Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus' (1992). The guy has some wisdom and explains the instinctive nature of both sexes.

Joshua Mwaura from a natural, world mentality. Not from a Spiritual view, which matters. We are all made from God, not from plants. That book is not on point. Men are from God and formed two ways. One of the devil and one of God. Women are drawn and made from Men. So we come from the same place🤦🏽‍♀️ God...
@Joshua8224
@Joshua8224 4 жыл бұрын
@@victoriousayesha825 I appreciate your view. @@victoriousayesha825 Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is just a metaphor that helps analogize the difference between men and women. Please listen to the audio-book: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iarKooGNj7p2pLs. The book explains the instinctive nature of both sexes. Please try to differentiate what someone believes in and what they provide/ we (Christians) don't live in a bubble whereby i will say that i will not recerive help (medical, supplies, services) from a non Christian. God designed us both male and female in his image. On a spiritual level we of the same dignity and value, but have different roles. That is why husbands are told to emulate Christ (sacrificially loving the Church) in loving their wives; wives are to emulate the church (submitting to the leadership of Christ) in submitting to their husbands. Now, this (the book) goes down to the nitty-gritty details of men and women relationships i.e., common misunderstandings, arguments, communication. These are mentioned vaguely in the Bible, but it doesn't mean that one should not seek more knowledge on the same. It is like medicine.... It is true that we need to ask God to heal us. God will still use meddicine or treatment to heal us. Mind you, Luke the Gospel historiian was also a physician.

“Treat her like she’s disposable” no man. not the best advice to keep a strong marriage and frame in check. Rather, you shouldn’t Allow her to be the focus of your life. She’s a compliment to your life not the focus. I get what he’s saying here but the word disposable is a bit objective here. If I treat my woman like shit I can only expect for her to treat me like shit back.

The ironic thing is women also go through these very same scenarios and issues with men. At the end of the day we’re all human beings looking for love and acceptance. Focus on being a good human and the kind of person you would want to be loved by, and you will naturally attract the same.

@@Incognitoblue of course. I get that it’s a men’s channel. My comment was just an observation. Not a criticism of them or their commentary. More of a “huh - whaddya know thats interestingly the same”. I think women can benefit from watching mens channels and trying to listen to and understand men. Just as I think men can benefit from hearing women out and trying to understand them. It’s a great thing to be willing to listen to and entertain ideas that are not your own or that you may not necessarily agree with right away. I think that makes for a well rounded reasonable individual. As pointed out by the theme of my comment - I truly believe we men and women need each other. We are different in so many ways but the same in many. We both have what the other lacks while also having the common humanity to connect on those differences for improvement in each other. This video is just another sign to me to just wait for the right man to come along. The right man won’t need to be bossed around. He’d know how to have responsibilities or he’d be smart enough to do what’s right for the relationship. The right man will be positive in himself and will motivate you to be positive too if you’re feeling negative. The right man wouldn’t mind giving to you but would let you honestly know that he wants help, needs help. And you’d want to help out of the goodness of your heart. Like all these things I feel like are issues when you’re in a relationship that’s just not for you. Like me, I admit that I have some of these issues simply because of attachment and fear of loneliness forever, lack of faith, etc. I just hope to keep actively noticing these things that are red flags in relationships to kind of figure my life out because no a women shouldn’t be having to do all that negative stuff in the first place if she’s with someone respectable.

I had a friend from India who had a girlfriend and they were fine. The leader of the girl's group of friends told his girlfriend that she didn't like him and that they should break up, so it happened. When you are dating one female you're dating the whole lot of them sometimes. What happened was an example of altering the people and situation which we often call manipulation.

Be very keen on ESCAPING before you devalue yourself. Don't give her the benefit of the doubt. I have been with a woman for 4 years and I have raised her in life, helping her to position herself to become better. I have realized that she will take what she wants superficially but real things that matter like trying to be there for my family or little sister and she doesn't even care about her own. It has been four years and due to my lack of understanding I have sacrificed so much to help her get to the next level. The worst part is someone getting what they want from you, then they don't care about your health or their own. Then try to play you even though they know you can't be played. I tried to negotiate with the game. She still tries to convince me she loves me but I can tell it's not true. She doesn't listen to anything I say. Now her health is getting worse she can't even see it because she won't listen. I think I know why she is sticking around because I helped her and she sees what I've accomplished within myself and my assets. I figure it's time to go. I'm just being used. It's just so hard after 4 years

I’m glad I came across this video. I’ve been married for 6 years and my husband recently filed for divorce. We agreed I would stay home and raise the kids until they began kindergarten. I worked on weekends . I was committed, faithful, took care of the home, had a meal waiting for him, and fought to hold us together for years . He has said that I held him back and haven’t done anything to better his life . I’ve had to really examine myself but know now, he just isn’t happy with himself . In relationships/marriage, both people have to invest in keeping the relationship going .

Sometimes some women dont leave you because yall have kids together so they try to make it work or just for the money benefits. Some dont know how to handle a good man so they leave them, theyll cheat or go out without you subconsciously for you to break it up. Some men do the same with good women, It’s crazy how it always seems someone in a relationship loves more than the other person. Whoever loves more tends to lose (disappointment)

I see what you are trying to say. You have a point. It is looking beyond the physical and really connecting with someone on a soul level. But on the other hand could you honestly say that you would be into a man like this who had this personality that you desire but were not sexually attracted to? I as a man can honestly say no to this when being with a woman because the sexual aspect plays a very important part in a relationship. And if all they have is a great personality but if that physicality is not there then it is a recipe for failure.

The whole “men don’t deserve respect just for being men”, and “your penis doesn’t automatically garner you respect”......While I disagree, I understand what you’re saying. My thing is, we call women “Queens” just for being women, regardless of their behavior. These days, women definitely know their worth. And in the vein of men “knowing their worth”, why does respect for men come with a caveat of men “having a vision”, and a plan, etc??? Every man isn’t gonna be a handsome entrepreneur or corporate ladder climber. Some guys are just average guys who are content and just want to enjoy their life, and I think these guys deserve respect as well. They may not be looked at as “high value”, but they still deserve respect. Good discussion tho. Keep up the great work. #salute

Most women are not “bossy”. If they date a man who is successful, dominant with a “don’t worry about that” “I’ll take care of this” “women don’t open doors” demeanor. She will definitely fall in line. But, unfortunately most women “date down” or “below her standards” (in her opinion of course) so she does talk down or become bossy. ESPECIALLY if she’s splitting bills...just a different perspective to think about.

In before the bossy ladies explode in the comments lol Girls, they are talking about being a good follower to a good lead. Borrowing the terms from ballroom dancing lessons. Dancing is highly unpleasant when you have two leads competing for the role regardless of how hot your follower is, and the whole thing just doesn’t happen when you have two followers. The lead should be receptive to all feedback from his follower to adjust accordingly and make the experience even better for both, he may not even need to ask if he’s a good lead - body language, your reactions, etc will tell him how to set the pace. Applies in dancing, sex, romantic relationships. This dynamic is the best, and requires him to be a good lead just like you have to be a good follower. Both equally as important for a good experience and rely on both being able to pick a good partner.

As a dancer, I resonate with the example. Once he leads me to the dance floor I am at the mercy of the count and his dance abilities. If he's off I will not make a scene but adjust so that the dance flows and onlookers know nothing happened. When the song ends, then we'll have that conversation IF, he's mature. Generally we giggle about it because it was so smoothly played off. Not all dance partners can lead, some just want to do their thing. I don't abdicate my position once that's made known to me. I minimize the obviousness of the situation. He will show others by his actions that he's not a good lead. Once the song ends I'll NEVER dance with him again. And neither will other ladies. Same with any relationship. Once you show me you can't/won't/are unwilling to learn to lead, I am gone. I'm ONLY submitting to a husband, cause that is a husband privilege. I can defer to the leadership choices of other MEN in my life that I know are leading me in a healthy direction. Ain't no riding and dying over here. I'm living and thriving!
@lovebug6388
@lovebug6388 4 жыл бұрын
@No then you have been with boys playing dress up. Submitting doesn't mean that I have no say whatsoever. For me I am a Christian so it goes like this: BOTH of us are submitted to God FIRST. THEN, we're submitted to EACH other. Individually we have are personal relationships with God. We come together to discuss make decisions about household, finances, children, etc. Ultimately, the final decision belongs to hubby. He has the greater weight to cover, protect, and lead the family. If he's out of order, I don't act a fool and nag, I pray. Holy Spirit convicts him and he comes back to me correctly. Quite frankly, I am not his equivalent and he's not mine. There's things I can do that he can't and vice versa. But we do compliment each other. There's no lording over me. He loves me and I respect him.
@lovebug6388
@lovebug6388 4 жыл бұрын
@No interesting. It almost seems as if, the concept was abused in your childhood home. In that case I could definitely see the reluctance to "submit". Again, WE make decisions TOGETHER. I'm aware of EVERYTHING that flows in and out of the household. I'm also in a different place in life than you. Forgiveness has worked a wonder in my life and relationships. Wishing you and your partner continued success.
