I know this is old but I liked that part too! I think honesty is healing and freedom, and it may hurt a little sometimes, but that’s honesty just making you some room to grow. 🙂 Acceptance is part of it too, it something someone says hurts, it’s time to dive deep (within yourself).

Stephan is so right that before he started the conversation about healing I didn’t hear anyone else talking about it but him. Now, other people are starting to include it their conversations/coaching talks and communication. Stephan was the only one at first emphasizing and suggesting healing in life and relationships.

This was an excellent discussion. Your guest is a very talented individual. I don't like the "men need to step up" crap most people talk about. Finally we have someone balanced to talk about the issues between men and women.

@zukondis

Just for the sake of accuracy when talking about these issues between men and women I would always distinguish between men or women with options or without. That makes all the difference in the world. Men with options have the same pride that makes them disrespect women, and women without options have the same fatigue of never being good enough to not be ghosted after sex. The older I've gotten and the more options available have allowed me to better see this, there's no such things as man's behavior or a woman's behavior. People just act based on opportunity, and limit themselves according to their character.

@@xmswayzemx that's the situation we are all in right now really, usually wanting someone who doesn't like us back that much. Competition in today's world is insane. Not hopeless though, can always choose to date less attractive people (in both character and looks) OR working to improve our own character and physical looks drastically so we naturally become more attractive and pickier ourselves with the people we date. But trying the same bad idea over and over again and expecting a better outcome is no better than trying to win the lottery. Both are just gambling your life away.
@xmswayzemx
@xmswayzemx 2 жыл бұрын
@0RACl3 crazy thing is the guy IS less attractive than what I would usually go for. I liked his character in the beginning, sweet and funny, but slowly, he became a bully. Like would say things out of pocket, and I'd say something about it, and he would get quiet on me. Then, he cursed and pushed me once, and I stopped dealing with him after that. He tried to convince me to come back, but I never would. Well, he moved on and got a gf and married her. 🙄 I think I'm gonna level up, work out, get my hair done @ the salon, and say a prayer. 🙏🤣

Right on, Stephan!!! Like you said... “Knowing our Purpose is an aspect of knowing ourselves...” OUR match not only has a similar Purpose but also inspires us along the journey of fulfilling our Purpose because they too understand the steps along the way and decisions needed to accomplish goals with our similar Purpose in mind. THE ascension of love and purpose only gets better and better where we feel we can accomplish anything and everything together because we KNOW intimately all the details and ways we are better together. MOTIVATED in the best ways to be our best... bringing out the full potential from one another in exciting ways. Not only do we become the best version of ourselves but we become the best version to others and the world around us. AS you said, “Dating someone with a different purpose in life IS a waste of time,” and only keeps us from meeting our match sooner than later. What a great conversation. Enjoyable listening.

I have been listening to this podcast for years. I have noticed on several podcast that at some point it is determined that women lie about their lifestyles and other things. So the question I have is "Why is it accepted that women lie so much?" It seems like it is acceptable for them to do that. I would like to see an entire episode on that topic if possible.

Where guys are afraid of the reaction to their honesty is where a lot of these relationship card games come into play. These cards are playing a CRUCIAL role in providing a sort of 3rd party buffer to alleviate that tension. "I'm not asking this question, the card is..." And so using tools to aid in developing emotional maturity (with rules of engagement) can help people make better decisions from insight instead of fear.

Love what you say about not settling! And I would add to the explanation of the women's perspective on it: being in an exclusive relationship with a woman you aren't wanting to stay with is wrong because she is wasting her pretty years on you. You tied her up when she was at peek market value, and if you do that in bad faith (knowing she isn't the one) then you are a jerk.
@Bohoempress1031
@Bohoempress1031 5 ай бұрын
I personally believe that even if you say that you are not interested in pursuing a relationship your actions should match your words. This applies to both men and women. Its very misleading and quite honestly a waste of everyone's time to "pretend" that you want to be in a relationship whenever you know it's not what you truly desire. If you arent going to step up and do what is required to be in a healthy and committed relationship then you dont get the benefits (intimacy, time, effort etc) of being in one. Too many people out here like the idea of a relationship but dont want the accountability and responsibility of one.
