Yes! I love it too. God cares about the heart but that doesn't mean that we should purposely be dowdy to fit churchgoers image of "humility". If we say we are Christians, we represent the king. As an ambassador, you should represent him well even in how you present yourself.

One of the many things that I am thankful for is that God loves me for real. It took my years to fully understand this. But He loves me for me. He knows my thoughts , the intentions of my heart and even the number of hairs on my head and yet He loves me. Jesus said in John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." But I've found the same is true with the love of God. God didn't give His love to us like people or anyone else gives their love. God loves you entirely, wholeheartedly and earnestly without malice or the intention of betrayal. He doesn't put any pressure on you or try and manipulate you or threaten to take His love away from you. God's love is there 24/7 365 days of the year and it's unchanging. What an amazing God He is. And for all of these things and so much more, I am thankful. ❤

Yes, hard to understand unconditional love, because we have been taught to earn everything from day 1. Hard, but not impossible. Will need to renew our minds over and over again..., but it is worth it.

This is exactly what I am struggling with these days! I know without a doubt that He loves me unconditionally but for sum reason I doubt it time after time and I can't understand why... I read His Word every single day and I worship with Better Together/& Joyce Meyer every single day and I can't figure out what I'm missing?!? Lord Jesus I ask You to plz give me the understanding that I need to overcome this confusion of The Fathers unconditional love He has for me reveal it to me Jesus to where I cannot mistake the answer.
