Hi Stephanie, I know I'm Mexican, not black, but I do follow you because I hear your wisdom and I love it. My husband is black American and everyday as he leaves to work here in Kansas, I say a prayer for God to bring him home safe... EVERYDAY. I shouldn't have to worry, but we have felt unwelcome here more than once... but it's where we can afford after covid. There is no way to go back to Seattle. So we are in the process of getting passports and moving to Mexico. Selling the home we just bought and heading out asap. God bless you, and thank you for your wonderful vibe.❤

Not trying to intrude in your space... just giving ms. Stephanie love for her wisdom and letting her know i hear what she's saying and agree. Black women are strong and special in every good way... as i am also not white, i do feel some of this. Being not white can get you hurt even when you're not black in America... so if i can learn from her... I'm gonna. I learn from anyone who has wisdom and love in their hearts. @JourneyWithin-w9s

I am 66, Black woman in TX and am in the process of moving to Chaves, Portugal. My BFF is 77 and Portugal is her mother’s birth country. She leaves in a few weeks. Why would anyone want to sit around and wait to die in a place that has become increasingly hostile and violent. It’s also expensive. It’s a new adventure and I am looking forward to it.

I’m 62, and I would like to be somewhere else. This place is making me more and more nervous. I want to feel safe. This new election makes it feel like we’re in a powder keg. I never really thought about leaving the country before, but seeing the attempt to completely roll back our hard won rights, the release of the violent J6 crew, and the attack on safety nets makes the future look a lot like a past I don’t want to relive. IJS I’m starting to look for an exit.

I “effed” the job. 21 years working as a teacher. I left my retirement “money” or the idea of it because what good would it have done if I died from chronic stress? We don’t know how much harm chronic stress does to the body, some of it irreversible. And, a lot of us don’t realize how stressed we are until we make our exodus. I’d rather be poor (will fix this limiting belief with all the time I have my now) than rich with all the money I could get 10 years from now. Tomorrow is not promised. Living today…I’m wealthy in terms of TIME. Life is good outside of America. I’ve been listening to Stephanie and the gang for 4 years now and could not have done it without the example of all the women before me who did it.

Some people might decide to withdraw the full amount of their teacher pension. Yes, they will lose a percentage as a penalty if they are not yet at retirement age. In my state, it's a 30% penalty for those under the age of 55 and 20% if you are 55+ years old. However, the ways things are going in the U.S. right now, I personally don't feel confident that my pension will be there and paid out to me when I retire in 10 years. For me, it's feeling like I can get 80% of my money, now. Or I might get 0% of my money in the future. These are my thoughts.
@truthhappiness887412 күн бұрын
...any retirement you have accumulated for you transfer to a ROTH IRA & buy out for your pension if it's been 21 years. You still need a source if income. 2:11

Thanks @@truthhappiness8874 My “future” pension will stay where it is and accrue interest for four years, and after that I will figure something else out. With no income, I can no longer contribute to my Roth IRA but I’ll figure something out for income, I have time. I was good-ish with my money and had a house to sell so I’m happily embracing the frugal life so I can maintain my freedom. Thanks fir looking out. 🤗

That’s something to think about@@finnsya8054 I’ll watch my pension for the next four years since I’ll continue accruing interest then after that I may just do like you said. Good luck to us.

Steph you are glowing- your hair style/color looks fabulous. Empires can crumble from within as you mention- inner divisions, but American was born out of such bloodshed- that it REFUSES to deal with it. Thus..I believe astrologically it's called a Pluto Return- where a nation in this case, has the opportunity to heal it's wounds/blind spots/evils...and if it doesn't it crumbles...

I am totally aware of the veil being lifted when you live aboard. My biggest shock was how people in Spain reacted toward me and witnessing a statue in a possession during holy week. For example, often when my husband and I were strolling through the city, people would bow down to me and shout my black queen! Secondly, during holy week, with thousands of people parading and holding a Black virgin, Mary adored in gold with Frankenstein blowing everywhere! I was so moved I fell to my knees! Yes! I strongly encourage every black person should travel the world. It would truly enrich your soul! Sincerely, Dr. Shirley R Butler Derge

Thank you so much, Ms .Stephanie. My entrepreneurship was viciously interrupted by the nationwide scams that forced me into low paying government employment. Then, my exit strategy from substitute teaching was to simply substitute, briefly, until I could restore my youth music program, since our hometown became financially oppressed. The rude awakening has been that our neighboring towns are filled with community heads who only see themselves and block the progress of people of color, while black communities were robbed of community outlets for youth. Therefore, substitute teaching has been extended for far too many years. This was never the plan. Though the youth in schools excitingly receive my sharing, they have not come close to experiencing my true craft. It is the evil of those who only see themselves that continues to suppress our Ministries. Nevertheless, not so, says my God. I shall keep it moving until I land my facilities / home. My program is a dire need, and I'm on fire to resume, wherever that may be, in Jesus' name. My international travels have always brought me a favor. I shall find my way.
