I really need you to hear me on this on behalf of all women, because it needs to be addressed. Stephan and these men like him are missing the plot. Because their thing is so incredibly one-sided, let me fix that right now for those men (and women) who still don't understand the assignment: *Smart women do not give wife benefits to men that have not fully committed to them.* -You want a woman that to cook you a great meal? *Have you committed to her?* -You want a woman that can run *your* household? *Have you MARRIED her? Have you committed to paying her for her domestic labor, which you could not afford in the open market, or are you just expecting it all for free? Have you set up a spousal IRA and retirement accounts for her that you pay into every month? Do you have a prenup signed, committing to all of the wages she is owed for managing YOUR life at home so you can build YOUR empire out in the world if you decide to up and leave her later on? Have you discussed how you are going to pay her for taking the hits to her income and career, and taking herself out off the dating market in order to build YOU up? Then why do you have the audacity to be judging whether she's going to run your household??* -You want a woman that will be a good mother to your children? *Have you asked her if she WANTS your children? Have you proven yourself WORTHY of having progeny, or do you just think ALL men are entitled to progeny? Have you proven that you are worth all of the risks to her health, her body, her career, her income trajectory, her time, and her energy in order to raise YOUR children for you??* -You want a woman that will 'honor your leadership?' *Have you proven that you are SAFE for her to trust you with leading? Have you proven that you make sound decisions that show you understand her and prioritize her needs? Have you proven that you are worthy of respecting you enough to put you in charge of things that impact HER life? Have you CHOSEN her or are you still dating other women?* ...Because see, @Stephan Speaks, you never see men hanging out online talking about how *they can be worthy* of a) all their demands of women; b) all of the injustices and inequalities of patriarchy that already oppress women; and c) all of the labor and risk that YOU inherently represent when she lets you in your life. It is *irrefutable* that personal growth spaces, relationship coaching spaces, and other spaces that require inner reflection are overwhelmingly dominated by WOMEN and then men wonder why we don't want to exhaust ourselves and deplete ourselves giving to them. Do not ever forget that in a worldwide, viral thread asking women if they would feel safer trapped in the woods trapped with a man or with a bear and *100% of women asked said BEAR.* And you know what??? Comment threads of men that, when presented with a hypothetical question, STILL CANNOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. We said "bear" and men are out there really embarrassing themselves by explaining how bears work and telling us we don't know our own minds. Find me a man that has ever been in fear of his life from a woman. Find me a woman and *every single one of them has a story of being in fear of their life from a man.* *IT. IS NOT. EQUAL.* What more do you need to know when you start demanding things of women with your sense of entitlement and privilege??? So maybe you should start talking to men about how they need to do THAT instead of telling women to give out wife benefits to men that are still playing the field in the hopes that he *might* pick her. It comes down to this: Ladies, stop listening to red-pillers, incels and misogynists tell you that you're the reason why men are struggling *in a system that is built for them and benefits THEM.* You live under a patriarchy. You are taking on ALL the risk- with your body, your income capability, your child-bearing years, and even your life. Do not let any of these relationship coaches let you forget that. A man that genuinely values you will never let you be anxious or confused about his feelings for you. Don't let him confuse you twice. He will not demand wife benefits when he is still only dating you. Don't let him take you for granted twice. And also, the GOOD men are not sitting around on the internet blaming women for why we don't date them and complaining about how feminism ruined everything. GOOD men ARE feminists. They are working on themselves to heal their negative patterns, become better humans and contribute to healthier relationships. You're welcome.

Stephen, I love when you bring up cooking and the quality for women lol my grandmother told me on my wedding day to my late husband that if I wanted to keep my husband and have a long marriage that I needed to 👉🏼 “keep his belly full and his wee-wee empty” in her ITALIAN VOICE ‼️only a grandmother would spit out something like that on your wedding day😂😂 but I definitely grew up around women who not only LOVED to cook but serve their man and so even though I’m very much a boss lady I love to cook and cook healthy. I even have a food page lol but I especially love to watch my man, eat my food and see here the expressions of enjoyment, I literally wait to hear him smacking his mouth😂😂😂

I'm a leader too so its gotta be equal... i will let you lead but i will also lead. Im making six figures as a software engineer, can cook, do renovation work on the house, own my own home, take care of pets, and my other family members. The men don't always have to lead but yea two people should respect and try to serve the other person as best as they can. Sometimes the wife is smarter and have more skills than her husband and thats okay if she manages things too and is the leader of the household. Thats the dynamic with my sister and her husband. He gives her the money because shes better at saving and allocating and multitask. She makes more too. Theyve been together for over 10 years now. The men dont always have to lead sometimes they just arent good at managing things or they have a one track mind or theyre forgetful. It works for them. Hes a good family man even tho he needs a bit of help w things. He works comes home play with the kids dont mess around etc. I dont know i come from a family of powerful women but loving women. We arent going to dumb down and be submissive just to save mens ego but we will also be loving and respectful

You can’t have it both ways if you’re looking for a traditional relationship. There’s only one leader in the relationship, and it’s the man. If you disagree or want to create a modern day relationship, there will be dysfunction and it won’t last.

@imperfectillustration6261 it has lasted and almost every man I've dated are proud of my competence. The ones that are threatened were not a real partners. Supposed to bring each other up. If I find a man jealous of me or my career hes donezo cause I would never think of doing that to person I love and claim to support. That said I don't have a problem finding men and half of them wants to get married. Looking for a soulmate and real love, not competition.

@imperfectillustration6261 I'm usually in a best friend type relationship that's a bit more unconditional and accepting. There was one that was weird and he came from Muslim background where it's a patriarchal society. His ego was bruised just because I'm more competent. I never tried to make him feel bad ever. Only love, nurture, and support. Thank god my man now is proud of me and supports me. I don't have to wear a mask to be accepted. If we are both loved and supported, it's not dysfunctional. Imagine someone telling you to act less than you are or subservient when you know you're curious brave and can do almost anything you put your mind to? How disgusting is that? Real femininity doesn’t come on KZbin posting about how she is a co-equal leader in a relationship. She recognizes her role and place and knows that the best relationships and highest functioning model is that she submits to her husband, her husband submits to Christ, and Christ submits to God. This is not even up for debate. The issue you’re having is not with me, it’s with the off base non-traditional picture of a relationship that is all around us in society and in our homes today that has trained up a generation of women and men to follow an alternative model that doesn’t and won’t serve them in the long run.

Labossiere, when the proper time come, I am going to need a one on one coaching at the park. It seem like this is to much right now but when you sit me down and take me one advice at a time, I promise I would be able to deliver what is required. That's part of submission right? For as cooking, to be honest I can do the basic but since the household is desiring to change to a plant base diet then with you on my side I know that I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me. You did it again. This video was on point. Thank you for sharing. Keep it coming ❤🙏

I don't know if you'll see my comment let alone reply to it but I was hoping to get your opinion on something. If a man was close to his deceased father and they had a little tradition of listening to a certain radio program while eating tacos (Sundays); what would this man think if a woman decided to make him tacos for his birthday but had also recorded the radio program so that he could listen to it like he used to with his dad and it included a song dedication in honor of his dad.

Points 1, 3, 4 and 6 are not just assessed by men (from where i come from), but culturally by the man's family and relatives. It's an unspoken understudy but overall i guess it's exhibited in some/ most patriarchial societies. Points numbers 2, 5 & 7 will depend on the individual in question.Is he melodramatic or the actual drama 😂😂? Is he comfortable leading ( most are, even if at times, it is in the reverse direction😊)? With point 7 will depend on the individual if they are religious or spiritual or actually do not believe God should take center stage of the relationship.

the cooking thing would work with me, too, i get it. Coming home after a long day at work to a nice homemade dinner, that's the best. I even look forward to it during the day, if i know it's happening :-D. But cooking is work, whether you enjoy it or not. So the partner who does the cooking regularly needs to be freed from other duties/responsibilities, imo. Cooking can easily take a couple of hours as well as cleaning up afterwards.

My question is this... is this a red flag? My boyfriend and I had a break up and he sent me a picture a book on my night stand "10 things women do to mess up their life" I was in shock and felt naked" I wondered what else picture did he take? OMG! It was disturbing to me. My friends think it was cute, and probably he wanted to learn me more. But I felt evaded. Am I wrong? Ps we have not made back up but this has haunted me for 3 years. I don't want people in my house. And my room. Was I overthinking Stephen?

Stephan! I completely understand that men are supposed to lead and we are to trust them in their leadership and abilities. But lately, I am noticing in the dating world, that men are expecting us to trust them and their opinions during the earliest of the phase of dating without allowing us a chance to get to know who they are! What is this about? It's like they wanna rush the process and force us to submit to them without gathering critical information.
@TrueLoveWarnings

If a man is rushing, that's a major red flag and he has a hidden agenda, especially if the situation seems forceful. It never hurts to pray and keep a distance until things become clearer.

Because part of it is down to luck and fate. You could be a great person and potential partner but just never have the luck to cross paths with someone who is compatible for you. It sucks but that’s how life is. Not everyone who gets married is actually a good person or partner either - they were just fortunate enough to meet their match. Most of us don’t want to face it, but at the end of the day, the fact is life can be random, predictable and unfair. Just being a good person doesn’t guarantee a relationship and marriage, unfortunately. I’ve seen several people get married who were honestly terrible human beings in many aspects. They just had the luck to bump into someone who could mesh well with their (in my opinion) questionable character, personality and morals

These might be some of a man's requirements but if they communicate on what they are looking for they will be told the answers. Just not enough men that don't lie about being 💯. A independent woman can always handle the house hold but the point of having a spouse is we do this together as one no set duties. You make good points but let's be real not all men care because they are broken and never know what they truly want. They can have a good woman but still complain or get tired but instead of discussing it they turn to another. Kids is package but we play both roles so the void they missing we can't fix that so parenting is just tough and if you date a lady with kids be ready or don't do it. Being direct makes it easier for both parties involved.

Yeah, idk how you a grown adult and cant cook At All. Im like you Steph, I dont like to cook either...but i do it just because....cause I gotta eat. I even wanted to do something different for my mother on Mother's Day and cook for her. And I cooked baked chicken, rice & peas and vegetables. I havent made baked chicken in a minute...but I did it good according to her. I even make mind differently, so I did everything to her liking....from the way I made the chicken...to the rice n peas...down to the type of veggies she likes and eats. Just basic cooking skills. Not that hard. Chicken is basic...but why haven't I cooked that in years is because all the food I cook mainly are easy simple stuff. I dont like to use this term for myself too much...but Lazy Cooker. So long story short, if you cant even cook Basic Stuff...or even lazy stuff...then yeah idk. I rather a woman partner be a good cook that loves or likes it...but its not something I usually look for and require in dating. But now thinking about it, on how I presented all of that...if she's a Grown Adult Woman Over 30 that Cant even cook basic or lazy...yeah, idk. I might havr to kick her to the curb too. FR. Idk...cause thats crazy. FR. IJS 🤷‍♂️🤔
