I hope I don't sound preachy because I'm not religious. However I've been living life from a Biblical perspective for the last 30 of my 52 years on Earth. The Most High (TMH) had a very interesting relationship with Israel his people, and I equate it to Manhood. Let me explain. TMH set boundaries and laid out expectations for his people. This is what you CAN do, and this is what you CANNOT do, and despite the fact that he could utterly destroy them, his biggest threat was that if they crossed those boundaries he'd leave them to their own devices and unprotected from their enemies. We as men can do all that, and our greatest superpower is that we can walk away from an uncooperative women. So my rules that have served me well are. 1. Set boundaries and expectations. 2. Be ready to exact whatever penalties you've enumerated for transgressions of your boundaries. (In other words, if you say that doing X will get you Y make sure you stand on that.) 3. Never allow a Woman to disrespect you in any way. (This can also be part of your boundaries just make sure she knows you don't play that.) 4. Her job is to be a help and or support as well as a companion to me, not the other way around. If she has Girl Boss dreams she is perfectly free to pursue them on her own, and I wish her the best of luck with all that, but your not what I'm looking for. AND 5. I run my household and make the decisions. I may seek her opinion or counsel on certain matters or I may not. In the end I take responsibility for the choices even if I go with her suggestions or counsel, and I never REGRET any of my choices but I do learn from making bad ones. Anyway I could write a book on it but I'll stop there. Just my 2 cents.

Been there done that. I'm addicted to being single and my sanity. I have grown to feel no use for dating whatsoever. I wish I didn't feel that way but I've grown to enjoy my own space my own money. Come and go without needing to ask anyone. Almost married twice and dodged two big bullets there. After that second one I said to hell with it. Here's the thing: I'm working for a charity, so my job is more important than our relationship and, to a certain extent, my pride. Now, this may seem odd, but please take a close look at my icon. You should notice that it's a complex geometric pattern. Bare with me : I can do complex MATH, but my brain can't do smartphones, and that will remain so for the rest of my life. I need to lean on my partner to check my smartphone once a week. Again: I'm working for a charity, and my job is far more important than my pride. So, would you still make that categorical statement "Don't let her check your phone" towards my situation?? I'm waiting for your response.

My woman has had access to my phone as soon as we became exclusive. I require access to hers as well. It’s not insecurity… it’s transparency. I agree with 99.99% of this. I don't agree with the lying about her appearance. Which no solutions to that statement were offered. I think there's an underlying message when women ask do you think I'm fat or I'm gaining weight. They already know the answer to this question. Especially when clothes no longer fit properly. It's really do you still find me attractive. Do you still love me the same even though I've gained weight. I feel you have to answer these questions delicately, don't lie, but don't be brutally honest either. Women have, emotions, hormones, kids, and you probably sat by while she gained that extra weight. Let her know you love her and if there's anything she doesn't like about herself your willing to help her. You have a new, subscriber my friend. That stop spending your last dime hit home.

The last point is 50/50. If the man isn’t giving his woman the sexual needs, she going to get it somewhere else. To an extent, she can be forgiven because it was the man’s fault for not giving her action. If the man is giving her action everyday and she still cheats, open the door, say your goodbye and start again. Have self respect and never take her back.
