Yeah the fact that she set the tables too was kinda crazy to me 🤣 all the houses I’ve worked at, there’s usually a butler/maid who takes care of that detail. All I had to do was make and plate, and the plates are usuallu set out for me. Mad respect definitely

@@jigglehugs Yes, and she is getting paid for doing the work of a shopper and butler. She is not just getting paid to be a chef and shopping for ingredients out of the goodness of her heart, generally, and by generally I mean always, private chefs are also paid for all parts of their job.
@SenatorDodo092 ай бұрын
@@jigglehugs So you're telling me you genuinely think a private chef for an nba player isnt getting paid for every part of their job? Now, correct me if im wrong, but regularly going to a store and picking out the correct ingredients to cook with is generally a part of the cooking process, no? Either you have a specific person in charge of that (in a kitchen) or, in the case of private chefs who often do all the work themselves, thats on the private chef. Why would they not get paid for that?

I was a "private (Live- in) Chef" for an NBA All-Star player. I'll emphasize the the All star. It's a 24/7 hour gig. And before you even start the work, you'll know exactly who you're cooking for and for how many. You'll work all that out with his financial advisor or whoever is in charge. If his day starts at 5am, yours will probably start at 4am. If his day starts at 7am, you definitely have breakfast ready at 7am, and that includes anybody else you are cooking for. Friends, cousin, family..coaches. (And in the off season, it doesn't mean they will come down to eat at 7am. Sometimes, they come down later and you just have to keep it warm.) After breakfast, you can spend the a.m. time preparing for lunch and dinner or go out and buy the things you need to buy. But prep was the most important thing. And just maintaing the space. I prepared all meals and snacks, even his airplane food for away games. Everything he wanted needed to be available when he craved or available in the fridge. Long hours in the kitchen like in the restaurant. Game days, just watching the game from the kitchen as I prepare dinner for usually, 4, but that number always changed on a daily. If we were in the playoffs, I was feeding 10-14. And just during the season, with cousins, friends, coaches and even the barber visiting, always a +3 to the 4. And everyone has dietary restrictions, and everything is last minute. Lol. Off season birthday parties for the kids, feeding 40+ were also fun, lol. In all seriousness, best time of my life. Perks: invited to games, sat courtside many times, saw an insane shoe collection, got to feed a beautiful family from sunrise to sundown and him, an NBA All Star and contribute to that team. And since he was an All Star and played in the All Star game, I didn't have to cook and got a nice 10 day vacation. And all his away games were my days off, too. Dont forget that year end bonus 💲

@Treadmillz23 күн бұрын
@ I agree to a certain extent. Being physically attractive specially for women will take them a long way until they get older or once their looks begin to fade. It’s the looks that catches people’s attention in the beginning. But, it’s definitely the personality and skills (what he or she can bring to the table) that will prolong the relationship. A man with no skill set of value will not have anything in this life… maybe modeling but like I said, looks fade. So, now that man needs to learn a set of skills to become important. Can you imagine a man that can’t fix or repair anything, can’t lead, can’t provide?
