Girl you’re only about a 4 hour drive from Covington, GA. Aka “mystic falls”. You can literally go see the town, eat at mystic grill, see Elanas house, Lockwood mansion, buy vervain, etc. also Conyers, GA (close to Covington) is where a lot of “The originals” is filmed. It’s worth the trip!

As an independent girly myself lmao, what I do to get packages to my apartment by myself is open the package up downstairs and use a cart (just like the one they gave you), and put the pieces on the cart one by one. Takes a long time but it’s WAYYY easier to do. Hope this helps 🫶🏻

I know it’s too late, but if you’re getting any more furniture I recommend getting a dollie or hand truck. Such a life savior when you live alone!! Also makes moving with furniture sooo much easier

And two as a forty one year old who has moved every two to three years since I was 16, let me tell you a dolly is the best investment I have ever made in my life.. it’s just a wooden square with fabric covering it and four wheels… you’ll never have to worry about never being able to move big, awkward shaped or heavy things alone anymore.

Oh my goodness I totally feel your pain and understand how you feel. I live alone as well and never have help and when I ask someone they’re always busy. I do everything alone too it is extremely frustrating. Sometimes my body will hurt for days because I force myself to carry very heavy things up my stairs. ❤ I’m so happy that at least your couch and your cousin coffee table is amazing. Omg the palmetto bug we have those and Florida and they’re basically giant flying roaches I despise those things. Definitely spray your balcony door and window frames with roach spray. They tend to be around when it’s humid or after it’s rained.
