If it hasn't become apparent by now, ESPN is run like a popularity contest. I would never work for a company that retains its employees based on anything other than merit. Suzy Kolber got let go because she aged. In 1993, she was much younger and, thus, more appealing to TV executives. The television industry is as phony as Hollywood. Molly is only qualified to work retail, but she was given a network television job for obvious reasons.
