That's why my advice to Caitlin to leave the wnba and play in europe.Leave the wnba let it rot.
@chestermicek
@chestermicek 2 күн бұрын
That's a damn good idea. Let's just say that Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, & Cameron Brink played in Europe for one year. The financial ruin would collapse the WNBA. That would be enough to get rid of the Butch-League-Ball that defines the WNBA. It would also drive up revenue in the women's leagues in Europe. When & if Caitlin, Cameron, and Paige ever came back, they could pick their team and earn twice what they are earning now. Seriously, with a WNBA Commissioner like Cathy Englebert money is the only thing that matters. If Clark, Brink, & Bueckers refused to play in the WNBA because it was too thug-butch, then the league would change because of the lost revenue.

The way she turned her down was unusual and to me it appeared to be deliberate. CC then had her bi-focal vision distorted for the rest of the match. That's why her shooting was off.

Given the attack was early in the first quarter, this was likely a PLANNED and DELIBERATE assault that was designed to take Clark out of the game. The fact the "block" was so bad. The ball was already gone, her open palm (typically what a block would use) changed into a pointed clasp of her fingers and she curved her hand to strike DIRECTLY at Clark's eye. That wasn't a "bad block", that was an illegal assault horribly disguised as a block. Her reaction afterwards showed she knew it was bad (hands spread out like 'did I do that? It was an accident!' and then quickly moving on and ignoring Clark falling to the ground. When the refs equally ignored it, Carrington quickly ran away as well. She KNEW she had hit another player directly in the eye and just didn't give a shit? It was pre-planned and blatant assault. If the league won't kick her ass out completely, the local DA needs to look into filing actual criminal charges against her. That was completely outside the scope of the game and SOMEONE needs to hold her ass accountable.
@TyGrue-p2n
@TyGrue-p2n 2 күн бұрын
@@derrickJameson-p8g😂😂😂 you should go look at Clark's stats against The Connecticut Suns, she never plays good against them. Also if she couldn't see good enough to shoot why keep shooting? You say her eyesight was off but she said it didn't affect her, we should believe you over Caitlin? Stop making excuses because Clark isn't. Y'all continue to push the victim narrative for her everytime she plays bad, it's comical at this point 😂😂😂

I'm getting sick of all the petty drama in the WNBA. I love to watch Caitlin, and that's why I tuned in, but they gotta start acting like grown ass women and not like elementary school girls. This is why women's sports fail... cause of women drama. Men got drama, too, but it's usually trash talk or competition drama, not petty jealousy. The majority of WNBA seems solid, but the Reese and Swoopes type crap gotta stop. Plus, the jacked up refs and owners gotta get their shit together.

Boo hoo Learn to use the English language correctly instead of your illiterate BS. PS. A deliberate attack on a player IS NOT getting hit. They are being attacked. Seriously how simple are you not being able to understand????????

coward move by a coward player. what a trash move. the referees and the indiana coach and players are also accountable. They should have called the coward on that bs move. not start a fight. but just strongly verbally tell her to leave those moves at home. wnba - players can have long as finger nails and yall ok with it?
