When I watch the CC with my two girls (black, yes), they say, "Dad, did you see that?" "Oh my god Dad..." CC is amazing. I hope she keeps pushing herself, because she is Steph Curry now... but I want Michael Jordan plus. She really is that good. What you need to pay attention to is her total game. My god. The reason Swoopes is so horrible is that she knows, and is a terrible person. Shame on her. I am embarrassed, myself, and for her. The shooting... the passing... the selflessness and willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team. A consummate teammate. The best I've seen.

it must be the best ever to see your little girls give credit to a good player. Enjoy themselves watching a game. My little boy now shoots from out in the street for 3 pointers . So far , three broken windows, one broken car side mirror and countless plants have given their lives for the cause. Son is nice and fully admires a young womens accomplishment. Have not heard in months " he shoots like a girl" or "plays like a girl". That in itself is awsome. Always made me cringe when i would hear that when kids were playing. Times are changing for the better . oh and neighborhood girls now play too no matter how good or bad anyone is. Kids are giving each other chances to play..

I went back and watched some old Swoopes games for the beginning of the WNBA, and the talent level is nothing compared to what it is today. In her prime, Swoopes wouldn't be a top 20 player in the league if she was playing today. She seething that CC in her rookie year is better than she ever was and better then all the black players in this rookie class too

Swoops was pissed Clark broke her NCAA. Playoff scoring record which stood for many years. So she tried to down play Clarks accomplishments by making up statistics. Played 5 yrs in college, shot 40 to 50 shots a game, etc. Then when she was shown rhat Clark only played 4 yrs and never took her covid year, still scored more points in NCAA history, and broke the record held by Kelsey Plum in few games. She was embarrassed by that and decided latksname would never cross her lips again. Talk about petty. Wow!
