Stephen A would be a great teacher for athletes when it comes to professionalism. There is so many athletes with toxic pride that just create more problems for themselves when they still have something to learn. Even outside sports in any other career field, good attitude and relationships does make a difference. It is a skill that you can use anywhere.

I'm white. Ain't just people of color who love this man. Stephen A. has been my favorite sports media figure for a couple years. Always articulate, well-informed, prepared, fair, truthful, principled, courageous, confident, professional, and flat-out hilarious. I watch and listen to this man because 1) I respect his opinions about sports matters, and 2) I often laugh my ass off at his audaciousness!

Absolutely agree about Boogie and how bizarre it is that he's not in the league. I just don't get it and I've never really heard an explanation that made sense to me. As Draymond said, Cousins played great for the Nuggets off the bench last year--he played a key role in an injury ravaged team winning almost 50 games and making the playoffs. The Nuggets have DeAndre Jordan as their back up center this year and he's not half the player Cousins is. I can think of a dozen teams that could use him right now off the bench. Strange.

Glad to see the Draymond Show getting back into rhythm. As always, though, I've got questions about many of Stephen A.'s NBA takes. No mention of Jokic at all in the MVP discussion even though he's dominating more than ever and the Nuggets are a #1 seed, an assertion about Giannis playing great when recently he actually isn't playing up to his past standards, no mention of the Nuggets as one of the top teams in the west, etc. I understand how difficult it is for these national sports guys to really be experts or follow every sport closely, but I'll just say that the MVP voters and other more knowledgeable NBA talking heads get it right far more often than Stephen A., even if his takes are always fun and entertaining.

How can you speak about MVP race, mention 5 players and not mention Jokic. I kind of can see not mentioning Nuggets for the title prediction, you can have your doubts, you can believe in other teams more etc... But not mentioning a guy who won previous 2 MVP titles and has a better season then previous 2, who sits as a number 1 seed and has no injury or drop in form record, I just can't see how he is not leading the race let alone not even deserving of a mention...

2023 may be a year of growth for Draymond. The "no mercy" comment about Skip sounds like the pot calling the kettle black when he had "no mercy" knocking out his younger teammate Jordan Poole in the public eye.
