Happy New Year all, hope whoever is reading this has the best year of there life and that can start with becoming more Christ like and able to leave this world a better place than you found it. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your life do so before your last breath. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your life, bow your head, close your eyes and from a sincere heart ask him to cleanse you of your sins and be your Lord and Savior.

The greatest coach of all time. Hands down. Won 7 national titles. Got Alabama and LSU back on the map. Won rosebowls and sugar bowls. 4 Heisman winners. Has left his mark on college football forever and he went out on top. He won the sec championship which is the NFL of college football. His last game was a classic and honestly he should have won. Greatest coach of all time on the best college program of all time. 18 national championships he left Bama as the best college football program ever. It's undeniable. The best.

Nick Saban is not only good for college football. He's the best. He believed in hard work. Because it pays off better at the end. He respected the NCAA and NFL. He wasn't a cheater or tried to get over. He worked hard whatever he was doing. Saban did not grow up rich, so he knows what hard work is,and what it takes to become a Champion! He went to Kent State where he played DB 1970-72. The head coach of that team wanted Nick to be a coach. Saban was very intelligent at a young age. He took on tough challenges in his coaching career at a young age. *Saban's career began in 1973 as a graduate assistant at Kent State. *He later made stops as a position coach -- always on defense -- at Syracuse (1977), West Virginia (1978-79), Ohio State (1980-81), Navy (1982), Michigan State (1983-87) and with the Houston Oilers (1988-89) as a DB coach. *He got his first head coaching job in 1990 at Toledo *He spent two seasons with the Cleveland Browns as a defensive coordinator under Bill Belichick from 1991-94. *Nick Saban became the head coach at Michigan State coach 1995-1999. In five seasons with LSU, Saban had a 48-16 record, winning three bowl games, two SEC Championships and 1 National Championship in 2003. *Nick Saban jump back into the NFL as head coach of Miami Dolphins 2005-2006 At Alabama, Nick Saban coached 17 seasons in Tuscaloosa, winning six national championships and 11 SEC championships. He spent 28 seasons as a head coach at the college level. Saban coached Alabama's first four Heisman Trophy winners He leaves Alabama with an absurd 206-29 record, a winning percentage of .877 and a 16-7 record in bowl games. Thank You Coach Nick Saban for teaching the players in college and in the NFL to always be truthful to themselves and the game they love. Because that alone makes us winners!!!

@@jcelldogsit wasn’t cheating, you went to Saban and Alabama to make money in the NFL. Now you can make money in college. And also with the portal you can’t sit 5 stars one or two years until they’re really prepared for the big stage and then send them to the NFL. The college game has changed so much in the last few years to where it’s like the NFL and I don’t like the NFL. The pros is too much money driven and scripted.

When Nick Saban was hired by Alabama, I thought for sure that he'd return them to prominence just because of all the money that ESPN reported that Alabama was investing in the program. I never thought it'd be 6 titles, though. Still, my favorite title of his remains the 2003 national championship at LSU because Saban wasn't well-known outside of the Big Ten and SEC, and LSU had never been a great football team. Also, America was on his side because Oklahoma did not belong in the Sugar Bowl and caused national outrage. That game put him on the coaching map and set up his career for the next 20 years, from the Dolphins to Bama.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it won’t happen. With Oklahoma and Texas coming into the SEC, it will tip the balance such that the SEC (and college football in general) will now become truly competitively balanced just like the NFL. There will no longer be any dominant (undefeated) teams in the SEC - there’s going to be proper equilibrium between the top teams. However, over time, Oklahoma will emerge as the winningest program.

I agree, his failure in miami, at the pro level shouldn't be forgotten. He's the greatest college coach of all time, but to say he's the greatest "football" coach is laughable.

Great college coach ever! But come on you can’t pick him over a NFL coach when the skill gap jump to NFL is astronomical and lack of parity and competitiveness in college football

Man I'm going to miss this coach but he is 72 years old and you have to retire one day and I guess he is probably comfortable with his decision on deciding to retire right now.Enjoy your retirement coach because you have definitely earned it

He always hit the best players. You don’t need to be a great coach. Spread the love around and then see how great a coach is. Anyway, I hope he enjoys doing what he wasn’t able to do .❤❤❤

Bama and esecspn bought all sabans recruits. Bama and their dynasty is nothing more than a con job by espn and the ncaa was told to shut up about it as espn basically controls college football.

I personally think College Football Coaching and NFL coaching are too different to really compare and say if Saban or Belichick are better, but either way Saban definitely Greatest of All Time in CFB History. Roll Tide.

As a Miami fan and college football fan, he is the greatest! No doubt about it. Absolute respect! BUT thank god he’s gone! Now who’s gonna take the reign as Supreme in this sport? I don’t think Alabama will be quite the same without him but time will tell.

I agree that it's harder to be successful for so long in college football. In the NFL you are building a team around a few certain players, especially QB. In college football the turnover rate is what makes it harder to keep winning and stay on top. So Saban is the greatest

i really hate this news, but I'm not surprised because it has gotten too hard and complicated to build a team now. You get them, then they enter the transfer portal. NIL & the transfer portal basically helped make his decision. It's going to be really hard having to adjust to not seeing Coach Saban as a part of the Alabama Crimson Tide. This one hurts man.. Thank you Coach Saban!! & Good Luck as a retired Champion.

It sure is complicated when you can't just buy all the top recruits under the table anymore. All teams can do it legally now and Saban leaving is just showing what a fraud he is.

So, he upset with the state of college football. Wow, now others team are able to have players with equal talent thanks NIL and the transfer portal so he want continue to have the advantage of the best players. I guess Michigan showed him what a difference a level playing field could make.
