Mad Dog is right. Chiefs should not be punting on 4th & 4 at the Eagles 39 unless they can guarantee pinning them inside the 5. Ends up being a 19 yard punt.

Putting that ball at the 5 from 39 out is beyond easy, all they have to do is do a drop punt and not a normal nfl punt
@YouGotHousesWeGotMahomes
@YouGotHousesWeGotMahomes 6 ай бұрын
@One-ah-Cacatai if it was so easy why didn't they do it? I was at the game. The elements were bad. Rainy and windy. The punter Townsend was already having a bad night. Then Justin Watson who had already dropped a pass the play before to get the 1st down, couldn't find the ball and it bounced into the endzone. Horrible decision to punt there. Even if they down it at the 10, it's only a 29 yard punt.

Okay so bc Brady retired last year people seem to forget he played 23 years ago when the sport was MUCH more violent and he played against Ray lewis and that terrifying defense for a decade.. and if you have ever heard Ray Lewis speak about Tom you would know that arguably one of the greatest defensive players ever not just of our generation not only thinks that Tom is the goat but has the utmost respect for Tom

@@battlestar1788 totally bro I mean do you remember when Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were in their prime with Terrell suggs those defenses.. not only were they hyperphysical but what made them the best was just how insanely smart those guys were.. in my opinion it's one of the reasons why Tom Brady was so good because of those kinds of defenses he had to beat every single year in the playoffs.. I still love football and however I do agree with what Brady said to a certain point that the NFL has gotten a little mediocre but it's still not bad and of course it is fun to watch points being scored but I mean look at this year The defenses are running the show now not the offenses I mean relatively speaking Patrick mahomes looks pretty pedestrian.. in my opinion CJ Stroud is the MVP right now and Lamar Jackson is 1B

But the uncanny amount of lucky bounces, playing in the crappiest div for two decades, deflategate, spygate, tuck rule, Carroll debacle, Kansas City offsides call, privileged/protected NFL passing league.* *It's astounding if he didn't sell his soul to the devil. Honestly speaking he really should have only been to 5 or so SB's and winning 3 or so which is great but not legacy level great.* *Keep your mouth shut. You whine shout every hit you take, pansy. Even last year, First Take didn't banter with each other in between takes like they do now. It was always Molly trying to get to the next segment. It kind of started when Max left, then last year they took it up a notch because of the format and adding Shannon Sharpe and competing with Skip Bayless, as much as they try and deny it, but always mentions Skip anyways.

You need an O line...you need receivers who catch!!! Please PRACTICE, actually, during the week running routes and catching! 49s too, have great flaws. They have great 1st string, but if anyone is sick/injured they have NO ONDE to fill in AND they loose! Both teams will NOT be going to the Superbowl.

Brady is the reason QBs don't get hit fk outta here Tuck rule and 2008 acl

@@happyhogan17 No, it started before him. For example, Peyton Manning had a significant hand in it in the early '00s when he complained on almost every drive. Brady also took advantage of it but wasn't the only one who benefited. It's still why every QB has inflated stats today, and most of them make 5x more money than any other position. The truth is that the league benefited the most, and that's why they did it. It allowed them to create individual marketable stars, just like the NBA. It was a corporate decision at the end of the day, but Brady is correct. It has hurt quality across the board.

I'm a Pats fan but even more a TB12 fan but Mad Dog has a point, he played during that so called "mediocrity" era and won during that era, so, are we going to say that he took advantge of mediocrity and devalue his accomplishments? Like Shannon said, he speaking facts but at the same time he benefited from, wasn't after his injury that a new rule was put in place? OK then.

He's the main reason QBs can't be hit today so it sounds amazing but he wasn't complaining when he was benefiting from these same rules?

100%. The minute Bernard Pollard hit Brady's knee the rule was made so you can't hit a QB below the waist. 5 years prior Carson Palmer got his knee wrecked in the Steelers game, no rule change. Further back in 99, Rodney Harrison took out Trent Green's knee in pre season and guess what? No rule change. Only when Brady got hit they change the rule.

@@maplebear6527 glad I'm not the only person that watched football back then. I'm from Tampa and we hated him and his preferential treatment and then got to witness it 1st hand as soon as he got here with horrible roughing calls lol.

@@TLR1988 I'm lifelong Raider fan. I broke my big toe on the coffee table the night of the Fk Rule game. I live in NH so I've had to listen to bandwagon Pats fans ever since. Now all of a sudden they all, "have two teams now" or they, "Don't really watch football much anymore". Some just straight up switched teams already. Worst fanbase in all of professional sports. Brady talks like he was a gladiator now but I remember him stomping his feet and jumping up and down like a toddler whenever he got hit.
