Contemporary politics and great design are aligned in our current exhibition, “Stephen Burks: Shelter in Place” on view now through April 14, 2024.
For Stephen Burks himself, envisioning Shelter in Place is “about all of the creativity that we as designers can bring to bear, on problems big and small.” Ancestors, ambient objects, and futurism all become influences, as Burks explores possibilities for joyful living.
