Besides Steph's phenomenal masterclass performance. @TheHeadincharge2 жыл бұрын
@@Willy72070 It’s not always that simple. You have to balance defense with scoring ability and prevent over exhaustion. facts they needa play like the memphis series where curry didn't even play that well, but the others stepped up
@panner112 жыл бұрын
A lot of it depends on what Boston wants to do. Boston has been doing drop coverage on Curry, allowing him to space to shoot and he's been torching them. But what the drop coverage does do well is maintain defensive positioning and structure preventing other warriors from finding looks. So it's no coincidence that the others are doing poorly based on Boston's defensive scheme.
@lostparadise2352 жыл бұрын
Watching horford drop consistently on screens that are set for steph are making me go crazy, you can’t keep dropping when you’re guarding the best shooter in the world. You’ll live with whoever is the screen setter making their own play just make someone else beat you, you have to smother curry as soon as he comes of that screen and it’s mind boggling watching them let steph comfortably male all these deep shots which he’s capable of doing.
@grandpagold90602 жыл бұрын
Golden State is specifically targeting Al Horford, they know that he cannot guard curry 1 on 1. If Al steps up curry will just blow right past him, it’s really just pick your poison in that situation, and Boston seems like they’d rather take a contested 3 than a free 2 points
@panner112 жыл бұрын
The best answer is probably to give him different looks by doing both approaches at different times in the games. Most teams smother curry on the pnrs, and the warriors are extremely experienced with this. They just have Steph pass it to the short roll man who goes downhill and immediately makes a pass to the open player in the paint or the 3pt line since two players have committed to steph way outside the 3pt line and have no time to recover. It really is pick your poison.

It's not Steph dropping 40, The kind of shot he made was mind-boggling and it felt more than 3 honestly. That's what he does man and i hope we win the series but Boston is a very very good team and that's what you expect to be the team who is in Finals. Let's hope we get a good game but as a supporter i pray we come up on top #Dubnation

Robert Williams is the most impactful/valuable and I knew it was gona be him before the series started. I kept telling myself "That damn Robert Williams gona be a prob lmao. Jaylen is carrying the big shots but he ain't really carrying dropping 30 n shit, so Id give it FMVP for Rob Will. Without him that paint is open for business and the Warriors could play their natural offense.

You’re able to play on a torn acl it’s just u can’t cut at all u can run at like half speed can’t really jump but it all really depends on you’re body, but I was playing sports on mine for about almost a year before getting surgery cause it came to a point I couldn’t walk

All these teams that are hurting for an inside presence to get boards, play defense, and set screens, should really consider throwing some money at Looney this summer. Dude is excellent at all the small things that make a difference. Positioning, timing, space on defense. Teams like the Mavs and Hornets would benefit so much from his play style.

With how phenomenal curry has been offensively, the warriors should consider running all defensive lineups around him. Putting GP2, Wiggins, Porter, and Looney around him seemed to be working for the Ws when they were coming back in the second quarter. Those 4 guys are all good defenders and can do enough offensively that Boston can’t just load up on curry without one of them getting an offensive rebound or hitting a 3.
@manuprasad53542 жыл бұрын
Honestly maybe give more of draymond's minutes to porter. His only hindrance is that damn injury, which otherwise prevents us from maybe another ottomatic moment this postseason. And he's still been great in limited minutes. Maybe in your lineup you can interchange klay and gp2.
@TheFrostbite3242 жыл бұрын
@@manuprasad5354 I think his spacing is still valuable. That or replace him with Klay since his defense has been solid as well

Why isn’t GP2 getting more minutes? Dudes proven himself that he’s ready for the big moments every chance he’s gotten. Also Draymond played like shit then went on his podcast and didn’t hold himself accountable whatsoever

The Celtics have matured so much these playoffs, even their complaining to the refs has gotten better they’re much more controlled and their offense reached a level that they weren’t even at during their regular season run. However, those last five minutes was first half of the season Celtics. JB went into hero mode and attacked Klay on isos like three times in a row and didn’t score once, then Tatum who’s normally the closer hasn’t touched the ball in a few possessions so he goes hero mode and next thing you know the whole team is cold and jacking up threes and falling asleep on defense. Celtics were by far the better team for 43 minutes in this game but curry carried the warriors so much that they were in the game at the end and able to put together a few good possessions in a row and steal this game.
