I have heard people in my society say if someone have disabled child; "It would be better if he died, better than being a burden or just being so weak." I just tell them about this great man and that everyone deserves a chance in life, you never know something wonderful could come out of it. If not as wonderful as Stephen, life in itself is a miracle.

Do you honestly think he enjoyed his life? He could never write down hes own thoughts or put he's thought into action. Could never hold he's children or play with them. The reality is he was a burden, he was just a really smart burden, 99.9% of physically disabled people are not smart nor do they have anything to offer. It's the truth. Deal with it. I know for a fact I would rather be dead then be stuck like that.

@@SASMADBRUV7 can you even fathom how miserable a life like that would be? Obviously not. Just becuase he was smart doesn't mean he didn't hate his life being stuck in his own body like that. I can imagine being that smart he would have concocted numerous ways to end his life pain free he did not need this world. The work needed him and he probably realised that a long time okay and found worth and value in that. But you really think when he's not being a scientist (just a normal person) Trying to take a shower or get dressed, he would have had some dark moments In hes life is all I'm saying
@estrellassoliloquies

@@emmaskye4681 So many of us have fucked up life, while many of us give up, so many of us decide to deal with the shit instead of giving up, maybe he was one of the brave ones. I did not say that he enjoyed his life. But it was a good decision to let him live. Just because someone is stuck in such body doesn't mean that WE get to DECIDE if they're worthy to live or not! I have seen several kind of disabled people, one of them killed himself, but so many of them I've met, man they smile, they laugh, they make others smile, they speak nonsense but they sure as hell don't consider themselves as burden. Unless YOU WANT TO LIVE and people around you don't think of you AS A BURDEN, no-one else has the right to say anything else. I have a mentaly disabled cousin, she has more empathy than anyone I've ever met, she cares for people, she's a kid in a grown up body and she DESERVES to live. EVERYONE DESERVES TO HAVE A CHANCE IN LIFE UNLESS IT'S THEIR TIME OR UNLESS THEY DON'T WANT THIS CHANCE. I know you're looking at things statistically and as they appear, but they are just HUMANS, they deserve to live as much as any of us. Human body is just a vessel, soul is what truly matters. IN MY OPINION.
@estrellassoliloquies
@estrellassoliloquies 4 жыл бұрын
@@emmaskye4681 You're right, offcourse he would have thought of killing himself, hell even perfectly normal people think of killing themselves, human mind always finds a problem or creates one. But he didn't kill himself, and so many of them don't, they accept it and maybe they find a way or a reason to live. I'm just saying that we cannot completely understand how they feel unless we go through it, we can just assume and imagine based on what we watch and listen. But as long as I've watched and listened, there's always some sort of light even in the darkest of things. If we're not there in the dark with them, least we can do is tell them that they're worthy of the light. Otherwise, everyone have their opinion and I can't argue with a concrete one, I've tried before. Let's just be Thankful that we've the privilege of choice.
