2:41 that somehow was on the night of the double homicide and detectives gained acess to the Murdaughs property for the first time they found a blue ATV with damage and they took paint samples from it. That's how the Smith case came to be reopened. You would have to watch the original footage of the live footage from the Murdaughs crime scene to see it happen. It was a shot of three detectives walking up the drive and talking closely from the kennels before it got dark and before it rained.

Wow, how dangerous to allow a family like the Murdaughs to be a law into themselves. It makes you wonder how many criminal activities this family has covered up? Stephen comes across as a very handsome, loving, intelligent, family orientated man. He was at the beginning of his life. I cannot imagine how his family have kept going as they have. His mother is herself an amazing, strong, caring, loving, warrior who’ll get to the truth. What a mother to have! I wish Stephen’s family can eventually get on with life in the best way they can. I’m so glad the 48 hours have taken up a Stephen’s case. It means a lot more of us now know of Stephen and what an amazing man he was. RIP

@@vickiecampbell3638 Yeah, and now we know that is was a hit and run because experts found that he was killed right then and there and that it is consistent with an object like a sidemirror hitting him from the front and then the back of his head hitting the ground when he fell. And yes, the person who accidentally hit him (probably) knows what happened, if not right then and there then at least after it hit the news. The sad thing is, since he was walking on the road in the dark, I doubt there would have been any consequences for the driver whatsoever. But because that person(s) fled, the family now has to live with not knowing what happened and the Murdaugh hysteria made his poor mom a target for the The Murdaughs killed everyone-conspiracy nutcases and convinced her that her son was murdered, so now she will never find peace.

@kellycuckoo3143 8 ай бұрын
@@phantagirlable I consider it a cover up because just for the fact alone it was a family of lawyers, everyone refused to go near them or deal with it. If it weren’t for the endless pursuit of justice things would have turned out much differently. I have seen too much evidence of people not being held accountable because of the position they uphold, and this would have ended up the same way. We also still do not know if those boys were responsible for hitting him, which would make my theory even more plausible. I think law enforcement would have immediately looked into any regular citizen yet they were too scared to even touch these guys in the beginning.

Why would they release anything for you before it goes to a Grand Jury? What you want to know and what you should know at this point is let the Grand Jury decide on first. If the put what evidence they have out there now, don't you think more coverups would happen. They keep it tight to the vest until who needs to know gets to hear some facts of the case to determine what charges and to whom the charged will be. I'm sure they have plenty from his phone to bring to the Grand Jury. As you heard, mom isn't even privy to that info yet. Why would the armchair investigators demand to know? The Justice system works very slow sometimes, especially in this situation, but trust it is moving and churning along.

I wonder how many of Alex Murdaugh’s crimes would have come to light if Mallory Bech terrible death in that boating accident never happened? Would the investigation of Stephen’s be picked up? bless his mommas sweet heart . edito’ i also don’t understand why no ones mentioning a huge part that’s left out of this deal. ppl like alec gotta have it all. forbidden was appealing to him. power sex drugs . they all go together. alec had his power .he was doing the drugs. maggie was seeing a divorce lawyer ! he was a cheater . HE CHEATED EVERYONE IN HIS LIFE . infidelity was just another thing. his wife knew but wasn’t going to be known for that. can’t say i blame her. he was all wrapped up into anything he shouldn’t be . his private planes was used to fly out on ‘ business trips ‘ …. they was attending sex parties . high end call gals waiting for them . renting out whole floors and rooftops of these very nice hotels. the men funded the drugs alcohol and girls . it’s something a lot of ( bad apple and a few good ones testing the waters , i won’t knock em all ) elite men do. they “ business trip”. them fellas are on both sides of this fence. reasons not leaked . to protect even the “ finer fellas ( not so bad apples ) “ … bc it would have brought down the whole entire south.
