Thank you for posting!! I saw him in Atlanta on 4/28/07 and he was amazing. I will NEVER miss him when he is in town. I just spent $300 on two shrink wrapped copies of "Stills Alone". I have owned it twice but I lost them, actually wore one CD out (That's not supposed to be possible). Got it on itunes now! What a performer!

Just saw him last night at HOB in San Diego - sounded terrific and played SO amazing. Thanks for this clip.

I love his later stuff He is so handsome still I like him a bit heavier than my best friend does but there is all the praise in the world that can do him justice and Ill heap all I have for him Yes Saint Stephen suits him fine the Prince of Country Rock and the the P0ntiff of Acoustic guitar there is none like him Thank you God for keeping him with us We love you Stephen especially ME!

The Original song is called "Know you got to Run" from Stills 2 (Stills on Banjo) (but the lyrics are a mix of Blind Fiddler and...I'm not sure about the rest ) if you happen to know the whole lyrics please add the link here, Thx Gus ☼

Partly correct , It is an old song but he did not write it. Some lyrics he changed but it is mostly an Eric Andersen song with same title and dismal theme. The medley , chord changes ect are from a civil war era song called " I am a rebel soldier" Far from my home. Both are on you tube.
