Everybody wants to say Imgine being Clayton Kershaw. The Dodgers messed that up for him by allowing him to pitch on short rest year after year in the postseason but were expecting different results. The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. Not many pitchers throughout history are efficient on short rest, unless they pitched previous to 1920. They messed up by not letting him face just one batter in a short rest relief appearance yet again this year. The Dodgers have failed him as much as he has failed himself if not a whole great deal more. Can anyone recall for me what happened when Verlander pitched on short rest this postseason?
@supermoneymagnet15 жыл бұрын
Nickolas Zair-Hanks As a Nats fan I agree. The Dodgers scheme was very poor also, everyone knew in game 5 that Kershaw was going to relieve Beuhler. All the Nats were trying to do was knock Buehler out of the game. They paid their bullpen big money to close out games and was reluctant to use them. Dodgers manager showed no confidence in their bullpen guys and now have to trade them away. Too much is being asked from Kershaw and no other pitcher in the league could handle what’s been on his plate over the last decade.

Indeed, Mr. Forsberg. For some time now, I've been puzzling over why there is such a dearth of outfielders with good throwing arms. When Jesse Barfield patrolled the Toronto Blue Jays' outfield, precious few were the baserunners who dared to tag up and advance when the ball was hit his way. A 'sacrifice fly' RBI was NEVER a sure thing when Barfield uncorked a cannon to home plate. Have you noticed how, nowadays, many outfielders' throws to the plate come in offline, or are cut off by the infielders because they simply don't have the distance or velocity to make it to home plate? Any thoughts on why there are so few outfielders that command respect with their throwing arms? PhiL >^•_•^

If Nats win I’d owe my little brother $5 and get a life time smack talk from him. Edit : he told me to keep the $5 which is worse and he gave me 20 min of smack talk.

I guess winning a home game in the World Series is overrated, lol 😆. I say GO NATIONALS AND MAKE SOME HISTORY!!!

Unbelievable pitching performance by Strasburg, giving up two early and then shutting the Astros down. That was kind of crazy with Bregman taking his bat with him to first. Soto being the young fireplug that he is he responds with his own bat delivery to the coach at first. The radio guys picked a co-player of the game with Rendon and Strasburg, totally agree, needed both to pull it out. Great defense by the Nationals as well

Crazy thing is if the nationals win tonight, they will be world champions without ever having won a home world series home game in the history of their franchise.

The tre turner out in the 7th inning of game 6 was a reminder of the infamous cardinals royals game 6 don denkinger call, but the nationals rose to the occasion and kept their composure...now game 7 between the nats and astros is gonna be classic tonight....
