Nah F that Klay cried and pouted like a baby. The Warriors gave him a $190 contract as he was sitting out two and half years. That’s his respect right there! Klay Thompson now plays with a more younger and hungrier Dallas Mavericks team (presently the Western Conference Champions), compared to the Aging Los Angeles Lakers team that made it to the NBA finals way back in year 2020. What are you even talking about? Both Kyrie and Luca played great defense in the playoffs. They needed more scoring help and Klay will at least draw defenders. At most he will be a legitimate 3pt threat. He might not be producing the same as in his prime but he’s still averaging 18 a game and was third all NBA in catch and shoot threes.

This is Klay’s second full season back from injury. He’ll be super motivated and if we get vintage Klay, the Mavs have a good chance to return to the Finals.

I see some adjustments from both klay and the mavs. thr mavs will run some plays for him but at the same time they won't need him running around all game which should save those legs for defence. I trust kidd. he's sho2n on defense he knows how to defend once he gets the right pieces. I hope he does the same on offense. less luka ball and more movement with players like clay, naji and grimes. obviously there would still be luka ball but they ll have more diversity. I feel like they ll roll trough the regular season if everyone stays healthy. now if they play Boston again I don't know what will happen but they re probably do better. Frankly, after seeing that, I don't blame Klay for leaving. As a Warrior fan, that really makes me question the amount of respect Lacob has for his players. Instead of playing mind games, he should be having an open dialogue, without all of these sneaky, manipulating tactics.

I blame Kerr for deciding to have Klay come off the bench after a few games of poor shooting for Podz a rookie. That was the beginning of the end for Klay as a Warrior. He was perceived as less of a player and it reflected the offer and extension he got , etc. Kerr decision to replace him with a rookie ..nice move Kerr..that is how you handle a legend.

Why is SAS saying it doesn't make sense for him to go? KT probably sees potential in winning and probably wants to keep winning. The mavs just went to the finals, KT could provide wonders for them and the warriors are not contenders right now. Time is ticking for a lot of these players we have seen in the last 10+ years, they want more chips before its too late.

I have felt like I can be a NBA analyst. We’re all delusional in life. When I watch Stephan A it reminds me there’s levels to this. This is gutting as a fan. I believed this is what dynasty’s are made of. Yes there’s only a 2 million dollar difference. What Klay did for the Warriors there should have been a $20 million dollar difference. One of the most screwed over players in the NBA. Yes he’s rich and better off than the rest of us. That ain’t fair though. Love you Klay !
