I can’t wait for the time when people realize it’s not just their body that needs constant care but the mind as well, the mind I think needs even MORE care than the body, i hope one day we can take care of both in tandem for a human to be fully healthy and maybe even include spirit to be truly healthy in body mind and spirit

Very inspiring! I’m on the path to my BSN but my end goal is to get my MBA and open up colorful ”de stigmatized community centers” in the inner cities of Los Angeles, that will give people an outlet and safe place to go and get help. Hopefully I can work with you one day! Keep up the good work, Queen!

i have some questions that id love if you’d be able to answer. 1. do you suggest switching my major if it’s not chemistry biology or psychology, will really only taking the courses that my advisors tell me to take after i say i want to go to med school be enough? 2. what does grad school look like in terms of scheduling, how many classes and hours on average? how many days out of the week? how is med school specifically different 3. will i always have to pay for medical school? are there free options, and if so do they pale in quality to the non free one? if i decide to pay on average how in debt will i be? 4. at one point in my learning do i get job opportunities? only after graduating? no in between? 5. what exactly are you studying to be a psychiatrist in medical school, what usually is the material? is there anywhere for me to look to have a gist 6. do you guys help each other, is studying isolated, are there many people you go to school with, are the classes congested? 5. when you were in residency, how were you compensated? were you compensated? how did that look? 6. who were there to guide you? did you have mentors, advisors, who was accessible for you, to help you?

@RebeccaRisks5 жыл бұрын
When I was in school it didn’t really matter. As long as you take all the prerequisite classes you were fine.

For the Mcat can you retake it if your results are terrible, also can you get into Medical school to be a psychiatrist if you only did good in basically the " psychiatrist like sections".
@elizabethteresa92314 жыл бұрын
Yes you can take the MCAT over if you did bad the first time. Med schools look at the overall score so if you did really good on the psychology section and did bad on the rest you most likely won’t get in. The MCAT is has mostly biology and chemistry questions.

After getting bachelor in psychology,do you further study in master in psychology or get into medical degree(this is mostly impossible as they all requires bachelor in medicine)
@hellojuneau89175 жыл бұрын
Jeff Teng she stated that you must take additional science courses required for the medical school you plan to apply to, along with taking the MCAT. Your bachelor's degree doesn't matter really. Take the necessary prerequisites for medical school. If the medical school you're looking at only looks at students with a biology degree then consider applying to other medical schools. However, that school may just "prefer" biology majors over others.
