Thanks! Well, I have thought this in university level and as a paid course, this is like an extract of that :) I am planning to make a more deep dive on mixing as a paid course at one point.

Hi Lna! Excellent video. I made a lot of confusion between Left/Right and Mid/Side. Especially with Left/Right and Side. Side is what is not in the middle and what is not in the middle is Left and Right. In other words, Left and Right is the same as the Side? Do you see the confusion I had? This makes a lot of confusion but seeing you move Eq.Eight doing and explaining I now understand better. Thank you Lna!

So is there no way to change a vocal track from mono to stereo aside from exporting it and re inputting it into Ableton?
@LNADoesAudioStuff2 жыл бұрын
To actually make the clip stereo yes, but you can aslo use Utility to spread the signal :)

How do you add vst plug-ins in ableton live 11 ? 😁
@foljs58583 жыл бұрын
You just install them and they show up in the "Plug-Ins" section (not in "Instruments" or "Audio Effects" those listings show only built-in Live instruments). In Live's settings there's also a section you can tell it where to look up for plugins (if you want to install them in a custom location), and whether you want to enable both VST2 and VST3 types.

Hey LnA! One question about something that I didn’t really grasp in the video. When you record something it is in mono, so how would I turn it into a stereo signal, you mentioned that you have to export it?
@LNADoesAudioStuff3 жыл бұрын
Hi! It’s just takes the mono signal and splits it so we have the same signal R/L. 50% of it is on the left and 50% on the right. This does not affect the sound and where the signal will sit on the stereo spectrum. It will still be mono signal on a stereo file.
