"Sterile" Dial Tudor Pelagos FAIL

This watch is not for sale, and I do not have a link for purchase.
So, what would you do with this watch? Can you imagine opening the package expecting a sterile dial Tudor Pelagos and you get this instead? This confirms a suspicion of mine that some of these companies that make "Homage" watches also make Fake / Replica watches.

Interesting thing about the mismatched lume is that on some of earlier Pelagos they mismatched the lume colors from the factory which was a QC error. The 5 liners don't have a lume pip at 3 as well

This watch was ordered as a sterile dial from Aliexpress, however when it was delivered the logos were present on the watch. The fail is that the wrong watch was shipped.

I had a opporunity to buy a GEN TUDOR Pelagos for 2600$!! I really wanted to pull the trigger but when compared to my pelagos reps -- the difference is so small! The clicks on the bezel and the crown is some what smoother.. Yea the reps dont lume as well as gen but really?? It really sucks we cant buy a gen pelagos for 1200 because thats what they are worth!! Love it but i guess i will rep it out with my F150;o)

@WrongTimeWatch well the gen is 5k mayor's. Or 3k on Grey market. Or u can buy a rep with the a2836 for 450 and it's 99% feels and looks like gen. I read tue comparisons. The market is flooded with tudors and rolexs.

No, this is steel. I put sterile in quotes, LOL. Not sure what I am going to do with this watch though. Not going to wear it around.

I do not mind a replica but the clasp thing is a let down they may done better not doing such a poor clasp . The lume looks great . What should you do with it? I would use it as a knock about watch or give it to a charity or thrift store . Someone would like it

I agree, the clasp is a disappointment. You would be better off buying a steeldive or San Martin watch from Aliexpress.

@@WrongTimeWatch Regarding the clasp the fact that the company who made the watch fitted a clasp that implied that it had an adjustment that was not there was wrong . fitting a standard clasp would have been better . Then at least it would not be a shoddy disappoinement

That sound is the rotor on the Chinese DG2813 movement, basically a cheap copy of the miyota 8215.

I just got a rep Pelagos XF and it's great. Of course it's not waterproof but everything else is just like the original. I paid 340 for it and it's keeping time very well and I'll probably have it waterproofed. Yours actually looks okay except for the non functioning bracelet. Other than that I'd wear it.

I would feel a little weird wearing a fake watch though. I might take it apart and black out the Tudor logo with a sharpie, LOL.

I got mine from ali for 57$ with a mingzhu and everything on the dial the escape valve , bezel insert eve the case.. it looks titanium even the clasp looks right when I got it home I put an ETA 2824 in it so I'm happy

I would recommend to avoid all replica watches. You money is better spent on a Seiko 5, or microbrand watch for the same price.

Sterile dial watches are not allowed to put another watch brands name on the watch. They are breaching copyright laws. So this is not a sterile dial it’s a fake. Anyway regardless of that the blue color looks ghastly.

That's funny, I have looked at buying both those watches as well. The GMT is just a tad bit too thick for my preference. I would really like that GMT in a BB58 case.
