A few technical questions from a SPT about to go into clinicals. Firstly, how can you not have a count sheet? Thats a double question bc I wanted to know both why there wouldn't be a count sheet with a particular set and how you would verify to yourself and for the sake of record keeping what is in a particular set. Secondly, would your recommend dumping the instruments out like you did at first since there are likely to be heavier instruments on the bottom that you're putting on top of the lighter ones.

Thank you for these videos! I am just starting in the sterile processing world and this gives me a lot of insight on many things. 😊

What should we do if we find dirty 19:28 instruments in the tray?

On average, how long should it take one to assemble a tray?
@WDYDCSPАй бұрын
@wagabagabobo-zg9ft that varies GREATLY. So I honestly can not answer that question without considering what goes into assembly quality wise.

When you say smallest to largest and curve before straight do you mean all the curved instruments 1st and then all the straights no matter the height?
@WDYDCSP13 күн бұрын
@itsmetynice curved before straight of same sized and likeness of instruments, then gradually going up in sizes.

No gloves? How is that sterile?
@WDYDCSP2 ай бұрын
@whomeye2168 the prep and pack area is not a sterile area, it is a semi-clean area. Sterility happens after the sterilization process
