He has many celebrity type customers and has done hats for movies including Public Enemy which was filmed in Indiana....Crown Point I believe. Thanks for your great channel.

reviewing stetson content and holy strat, this hat is an absolute B E A U T Y . That color seems so versatile, and damn it compliments your face shape and dressing style nicely. Would look great with some Pecos, Engineers, those custom Wescos or the baseball boots

That Turkey Feather is nice and the Design is very Handsome looking. The Color is very Earthy and Stetson's Fur Felt is so smooth. You could sew some accessories on it too if desired for more distressing. Nice Video CJ Cook!

Hats are such interesting pieces when it comes to menswear, they carry a lot of History, a lot of etiquette and are polarizing. It's all about confidence and forgetting you have it on, it also helps to buy a proper hat such as this great Stetson. Nice to see proper reviews that don't get too "geeky", keep it up!

Great hat CJ. I'm still on the fence, however, I am closer to picking one out. Christmas is just a few weeks away and I think I may need that Perfect gift for me. I may get a bespoke hat from D Bar J Hat Co here in Vegas. I already have one from them and it has held up wonderfully. Has to be close to 18 years old. Thanks for the review CJ.

Just snagged up 7 Stetson hats like this for $80, this guy won an auction and didn't realize what he had. Just today I grabbed a Royal Stetson for $10 bucks, I made it look new again.

@@CJCook Seriously, your vids are great and I don't believe anyone is doing style vids as related to this type of hat, there are some related to the fedora but that's the gentleman's gazette. It would be a cool deal to do complete outfit vids. Yeah on the pot of gold ie the 7 Stetson/ Stacy Adams hats that I got for $80 and the one Royal Stetson I bought, my wife was like Noooooo I was like Yesssssss lol, after I made the look new again with brushing as steaming them back into shape she said I have to apologize, lol I Won. Nice review as always. where did you buy these ? It is hard for me to find shops in the us . Here in Europe they don't have these hats. So i try to find some stratoliners or open roads in my size and colour in the us. Thank you

One Iwas able to find on Stetson's site. The other I found on eBay. If you want something from the U.S. Stetson site I can ship it to you in Europe. I have done it before.

My personal jury is still out on the distressed Stetsons. I will admit though that the sage open road was pretty sick. How do you feel about Stetson sticking a feather in everything now? So I had an idea for you. I know you’re known mostly for boots ( I found you because of hats though ) , but you should do some vids about how to coordinate these hats with your wardrobe. I have a channel, but I haven't gotten around to making an videos yet (too busy). Maybe it’s time to giddyup?

I have to admit I was never a fan a feather in a hat. It was always a bit too much for me...too flashy. I am slowly forcing myself to just get used to it.

Stetson stratoliner fedora hat is a crossover of a dress hat and cowboy hat is a dress hat is a 1940s style call the whippet the ready made hats are made with thinner materials the all felts hats are the cheapest, poorly made, fit badly? they will shrink, when wet, no leather hat band with no liner? the better made hats are rabbit felts the all time best hats come from the 1940s rare all beaver felts, leather hat band, satin liner sell for a high price if you can find one? Whippet style all beaver is the best sellers of all time the mostly come in white or gray black and browns are hard to come by crossover hats are the best because you ware distressed out fits and look, ok? wheelchair larry

I'm into western wear and the like, so I'm coming form that point of view aka not trolling or hating. I highly suggest you go to a real hat/western store and have them help you find a brim that fits your face type/shape/head. The one you are wearing looks a bit dorky and doesn't compliment your face well. A good western store will not let you walk out with a ill fitting hat/shape.

I think the Stratoliner is an amazing hat. It’s going to be the next and maybe last for me to get (for a long time). Cowboy hats aren’t in, not even in country, but a “western ribbon” is a more minimal style/ look for a hat so that’s where the trend has gone. JJ Stetson hat store is the oldest hat shop in NY and would probably be one of the oldest and respected if it wasn’t for the one in Detroit which is the oldest.
