My only complaint as an existing Xfinity mobile customer who’s had it for over 2 years. It’s the upgrade option. There’s legit no benefit for existing customers. No discounts unless you trade in your device. And most likely won’t get much for the device. Apple offers more for trade in iPhones than Xfinity. Keep that in mind. I found it better for me to buy an unlocked iPhone for the same price at Xfinity. (Just in case I ever leave I don’t have to worry about carrier locked)

This video needs a follow up especially with the updated Xfinity Mobile plans as of this September 2022. The biggest difference is that now all lines count toward the multi line discount! Even those lines set on by the gig data. With 5 or more lines on the account, any lines set for unlimited are $20 per month! Also, XMob now supports e-sim.

@@raul5578PR Every "Unlimted Plan" you come across only come with only so much "Priority Data" ( aka Max Speed). Ususlly around 20Gbs to 50Gbs and after that Your phone data get switched to "Non-Priority" ( aka Mid Speed) or Speed Caped. ( usually 1.5mbs to 3mbs) which is enough to work on most streaming apps/web sites.

Hot take: the hotspots are NOT a perk at all. They automatically connect you to slow hotspots that are literally just taking xfinity broadband customers' bandwidth (seriously, its broadcasted from their ISP provided modems and it does cause the customer reduced speeds), and they do not make it easy to disable the feature. My device would constantly connect to some guy's router instead of 5GUW. Cellular coverage, even on LTE, is almost always better than the hotspot data, and the hotspot is always the priority.

Anyone considering going to xfinity mobile should 1st take a look at their customer service. It is horrific at best. Trust me after spending a number of years and being constantly ripped off by them the best thing I ever did was get away from them. And what they don't tell you their unlimited is not unlimited. And no I'm not talking about slowing down after 20 gigs. I mean if you use to much data they will turn your phone off (again not slowed, off) and even permanently suspended one line on my account for using to much data a 2nd time. Trust me if you go to xfinity you will regret it

Helpful info: If you move and they don't carry internet service at your new address, you can't transfer. If you cancel internet they will automatically add $25 PER LINE if you don't have an active xfinity internet account. We learned the hard way and it's been a nightmare. You can't even sign up for their mobile plan if you don't have their internet service.

I've paid for Xfinity internet for the past five years, I pay for 100mbps and it's never above 30mbps unless I call and complain, then it's around 100mbps for a day or 2, and back to 30. I've called about this no less than a dozen times over the past 2 years... and the last two times they scheduled a technician to come out where I had to be home for a 2-3 hour window, and both times the technician didn't show up, didn't call, didn't care. Comcast is the most awful atrocity of customer service on the planet. Last time I spoke with them, their suggestion was that I pay more for faster speeds and lock into a 3 year contract with them. Why would I pay for faster speeds when you only give me 33% of the speed I'm currently paying for?

God no, don't do it, worst support ever with xfinity mobile. If you have an issue that needs escalation, meaning their tier 1 cannot solve it, their overseas Philippines helpdesk will stonewall you non-stop if you ask to escalate. They have failed to unlock my phone after 4 "submitted requests" and keep telling me "there is no other way to do it", been 12 days now for a paid off phone...

What is the pricing AFTER contract expires? Xfinity is known for great promotional deals but only for 1 year then after it ends it reverts to “normal” pricing which is way more expensive. Unlike normal cellular carriers when the deal ends you get it for life until you change plans.

Great video, but I don't think that the XM Mobile unlimited plan includes unlimited priority data, or any priority data actually (without the HD pass). The by-the-gig does though, which I like. Whenever my grandparents visit Florida, they can switch to the by-the-gig plan so they're not completely on the bottom of the priority chain, and it helps a lot.

Hi Taylor, thanks for your comment. I have confirmed through my own testing and through my contacts at Xfinity that the unlimited plan surprisingly _does_ include priority data, but only when you use it with a *5G device* . This is for the newest version of the unlimited plan with a 5G phone.

Hey Stetson would the $30 credit apply for current internet customers who add an Xfinity mobile line? Thinking about what you said, I see there is a savings of about $12 a month after taxes for adding a 1 gb line for $15 plus tax to get a $30 credit on the internet. So I could technically add the line and never use it just to lower the internet bill in a loophole kind of way. I'm just not seeing this advertised on the Xfinity mobile website or when I log in. That is a fixed priced. 1st you must have a Xfinity internet subscription. Then that the only time yiu will get a $45 unlimited data plan at xfinity mobile. You will get discount down to $30 if you get another services like Xfinity TV, Voice or Home Security. If you have 5 lines subscription. Then your Xfinity Unlimited data plan will down at $20/month only

Start’s with purchasing Apple Watch from Comcast or X Finity horrible absolutely horrible delivery. Apple watches would not work right on their system spent almost 2 years playing with Tech Support finally I gave up moved to T-Mobile not had a problem since. same equipment working just fine. And actually cheaper at T-Mobile for three phones and three watches.

None of this answers my biggest question... With Xfinity what is promised is followed by the actual bill which includes 5+ unspoken charges... Always. So what does the actual bill look like? Is it actually $15/Gig Or $45 Unlimited... Or does this included $15 usage charge or $10 HD reception charge, stuff like that.

I've been on the 1 gig $15.00 plan for several years now. The monthly bill is always around $17.50 with tax, I stay at this plan because I'm a laptop guy, there is a laptop in every other room to use. I never use data when out and about on my phone. I see now they have a $30.00 a month unlimited data, I just stay where I'm at because of the reason I stated, there is no trick, no unstated charges. My Xfinity wifi bill is one charge and the Xfinity Mobile is another, nothing extra is charged. I hope this helps in some way.

Sorry not a fan of neither one since I know a lot about US Mobile and Visible Wireless where I feel these two carriers have more advantages over Xfinity and Spectrum Mobile. Xfinity Mobile is more premium that those two brands you mentioned. This brand is great for people coming from another postpaid carrier since price wise they are good within the postpaid market. They also offer priority data on Verizon which is superior to Deprioritized Verizon which has a completely different experience.

I have Verizon(start UNLIMITED $70) and my coworker has xfinity mobile (UNLIMITED $45) and we both disconnected wifi and tested the cellular speed and he destroyed me (mind you I have the iPhone 13 pro max and he has the iPhone 12 -_-) the only thing advantage Verizon has over Xfinity Mobile is the hotspot, xfinity mobiles sucks. oh and if you have a 4g device you'll get depriotized so don't do that either. if you use under 20GB/have a 5g phone it'll save you like $300 a year in that respect. also a lot of the time they'll get you a better price for your internet/cable bill and its $400 off iPhones rn

Yes, they will! C-band will be considered part of the “Ultra Wideband 5G” network, which is included with all Xfinity plans. It has the potential to be a game-changer, too, because it will have better coverage, unlimited hotspot, 4K streaming, and it won’t count against your data usage.

well where are these super fast towers that gives you 4gbps? cause I've had xfinity mobile for 3 years now and I'll be lucky to even have 5g available. 9.5/10 I'm always on lte or lte+ with 3 bars. I live right across the bridge from Philadelphia and can literally see the Comcast headquarters. also 20g per month is not unlimited at all. every other month I get the "you're approaching you monthly limit" email

this is incorrect. It counts towards your 20gb allotment on their unlimited plan. The one time i decided to try C-band, i got 600mbps from my house, and it dropped to 1.5mbps after a couple speedtests.

I HATE THIS COMPANY! I bought an iphone and I Didn't like the phone and sent it back to Xfinity mobile and they are still charging me for the phone! I've called them 3 times and have talked to 7 people and all have said they've taken care of it but OMG they haven't! I even have proof because they signed for it when I sent the thing back. I am so angry with Xfinity mobile and I don't know what else to do!

No they will charge 35 dollars for return if you don't like the phone and charge. Do not buy a phone from Xfinity only buy the wifi with TV however watch your contract cause they will up the price

You forgot to add that you can’t even sign up for xfinity mobile unless you have xfinity internet so if you don’t have xfinity internet you can’t even access there mobile service so you better have xfinity internet if you are considering opening up a xfinity mobile account

@@nlmbquan5124 To be honest, the services are similar and the speed at the end is dependent upon network coverage, however Xfinity has good coverage and it uses Verizon towers for network. Xfinity also provides millions of free hotspots, so when you are out you can use it. The Xfinity is also cheaper, you can get 4 unlimited lines at $30 each.

TERRIBLE ....... constantly dropping calls, I also have a TMO which I use daily, no issues. Fortunately Xfinity contract expires in two months, Its cheap for a reason

Light web and email. Data is slow. It takes patience because you need to wait for things to load. It works in a pinch, but almost any other option is preferred.

@@StetsonDoggett Xfinity at least has the option to use the 19 million hotspots. I guess that is their saving grace. So up to 10 lines using the 10gb plan would then pay an extra $15 per gb. Hmmm not very good math to look at.
