It's funny, I commented when this first came out and wasn't able to update my line using the existing customer code, but mine updated with the "new customer" code. If you want to live in the fast lane - but that is only in U.S. In Mexico on a drive from L.A. to Ensenada Visible+ was barely usable. Don't think you'll be streaming anything as the signal maxes out to LTE in cities - areas outside Tijuana and Ensenada connection loves to drop (and stay) at 3G or 2G. Visible also launched the $35 offer earlier this year and the first iteration back in like February was for life which made people who missed out on that very grumpy when they launched the $35 for 6 months code like one or two months ago. Honestly they should just drop the price permanently to $35 or $40 at this point because clearly the $45 plan isn't selling as well as they would like if they keep discounting it.

just got visible+ and ive noticed i have a lot of LTE in my area, even though their coverage map shows 5G uw in my area. i rarely get 5G uw. ive contavted support multiple times and theyve done work on their end, and havent seen much difference. also is the 5G uw unlimited data or capped at 50gb

Yes, Visible plus has 50gb of premium data as compared to 30 priority on US Mobile. Also you still get premium data once you use your premium data with Visible plus but with US Mobile you are bumped to 2d speed data.

Visible only offers a single line of service per device with no family plans and chat only support. It really comes down to how much data you want to have available to you. If you want truly unlimited data with single line only service, then the Visible Plus plan is the best you can get.

I have the basic plan and it's been pretty mediocre and kinda bad.. I did try switching to the visible+ for a month and it didn't change anything. This is in Eugene Oregon area. This is a secondary sim with my business number. My primary is the $25 unlimited boost mobile and it's hands down way better. While writing this I did a speed test.. 1-2mb with Visible and 520mb with Boost. Pretty crazy the difference.. I know it varies location.. but it's been like this almost everywhere I travel in Oregon. I am more likely to have service with visible if I'm out in the middle of nowhere though. I wish it was better because I like having the apple watch plan for $5 which isn't offered on any other MVNO I don't think

From my experience Verizon deprioritization is the worst of the major carriers. Their MVNOs are unusable compared to ATT or T-mobiles. Mint mobile is wonderful

I am over the South Hills with a direct line of site to the Blanton Heights towers, I use 4 Visible accounts (plus some others). The 4 visible accounts generally do a 2.5mb average most of the time. However, late at night they do better and then there are some busy times that dip down. I have often had 9+ mb bursts. The best value for me with visible is that it is 'unlimited' (so even though slower), I can move data up and down 24/7 non-stop. I can move more data in a month for less money/gb. When I need speed, I can switch to a high speed cell hotspot (Cricket's $55 for 100gb per month) or drive to town. Having multiple cell plans is NOT as expensive as it first appears because I have eliminated the costly land lines, etc. One thing I have observed with the 4 Visible connections, they seem to bog down the longer a phone is powered. I simply power the phone off/on and the speed is back. Most often I can go for weeks without such an issue. Last note: Eugene is still low tech, only 4g max. with overcrowded towers. Portland has 5g.

My only fear with most MVNO’s is consistent in coverage. I was on Verizon for 3 years and while they weren’t always the fastest, I always had signal in most areas unless I was in an extremely congested spot. They never failed me and I never seconded guessed going further out into areas because I knew Verizon was always reliable to get coverage ( I’m in northern Cali ). With these carriers it is extremely tempting to switch because of the huge savings but I don’t want to sacrifice reliability/speed. Not sure if there’s any feedback with how consistent visible is?
