I love his voice. From a singer's perspective, it is nearly perfect for the genre he sings in. Sure, it wouldn't do well in an operatic environment, but then again, an operatic voice would not hold up well in the rock/musical theater/pop stuff that Steve does. His voice is purer than any I've ever heard. I feel like there is no end to his comfortable range. I think he's pretty much the best singer of our time.

I am totally in love with this song! Great to see all the love for Steve B.here; I've only just discovered this treasure of a man like 2 weeks ago... But lets not forget that Sara has a beautiful angelic voice which, together with Steve's stunning voice, is wonderful for this song. I do have a feeling Steve's 'holding back' a little in this song, so we can often hear Sara a bit more clearly (he tends to do that in a lot of performances); thats probably a style/interpretation thing. Lovely, but sometimes I just wish to just hear him singing his guts & feelings out (Gethsemane, Beneath the Waves, Wings of Eagles) ;)

Me too I found Steve only 1 month ago when I saw his performance Gethsemane... and I am immidiately in love with his voice, and his everything. Is he very famous in UK? He should be! But seeing the number of his followers on twitter, seems no enough.

Qin Sabine Hi Qin Sabine! Great, your Steve-story is my story :). Its truly incredible he's not world famous by now. On the other hand; he seems like a very modest man who 'just' does, what he does best without considering the commercial value too much. And I guess that's also important. I'm not from the UK but from all I've read in the meantime Steve isn't super-famous in all of the UK, but he's very highly respected and known in the theater and music/voice lovers world. There's even a singing-scholarship in his name (VIDLA)! I discovered Steve through Beneath the Waves (fantastic Kompendium song and album: please do listen!), but had heard a buzz about him before concerning JCS and Gethsemane. When I first heard him sing that genius song (Royal Variety performance of a young and adorable 'Stevie') I was sold for life! Whats your favorite Steve song (apart from 'Geth')?
