This episode was interesting. Bobby is like that sour patch candy. He is his own worst enemy. Steve Byrne has a lot of patience with his antics and calls out his BS and brings Bobby back to reality.
@magnetopenguino5 жыл бұрын
He basically pokes people over and over with shit until they eventually get exhausted and walk away, and then he plays the victim about it or says he knew it was going to happen ahead of time. As funny of a guy as he is to watch as a performer, I don't know how anyone could have any patience with him
@ethanp90685 жыл бұрын
magnetopenguino yeah man I like watching him but Jesus he sounds like a shitty friend, I hate that he manipulates his side of the story and then somebody will come on and tell a completely different story and Bobby will just go “oh” and laugh. I know if I did half the shit Bobby did I’d get the tar kicked out of me.
@rickycouture72245 жыл бұрын
After watching this, I'm amazed he has anyone left in his life -- truly! Not only is he selfish and envious, but he seems extremely deceptive and manipulative. Steve had the patience of a saint here. I would not. I think because so many comics come and do these podcasts, people just normalize their behavior as though it just comes with the territory of being a comedian. Like they somehow are above being accountable for being grimy just because they tell jokes.

Bobby told a half truth about the whole Kevin Shea incident, Kevin said on dumbfounded podcast that the reason why he pushed bobby was because Bobby smacked him across the back of his head and called him Stupid like play fighting and Kevin didn’t like that so he pushed Bobby in front of everyone there and it embarrassed Bobby badly. It’s the reason why Bobby hates him because If you’ve listen to him you know Bobby has celebrity mentality that if your a name you can treat no names like Kevin at the time like shit and they can’t do anything back to you. as an aspiring author / junior producer / director from germany this was pleasing. I just hit the pause button, because i wanted to give a notch towards a new shift in where your warm conversations could go. If you just give a little more weight, if the protagonist and the facts allow it, to the professional backgrounds of your guests and their struggle to push through the mud and how they dealt with nay sayers, stuck up bitches in producer roles where god knows how they got them, just with hurdles in general. What I love is the humanity and vulnerability of Tiger Belly talks ... maybe demystify not hollywood, but the beast within all of that wont let you get to work, that compares you to everyone out there and gets you hooked up on self centerdness... shit, as I am typing I realise I pondered about this for a while and still didnt kill the beast, but at least I can see it now... next stepping getting it in my sights.
