This movie was really good. I liked that it was about a person who didn't have a broken home was just broken themselves and just because someone is loved by many doesn't mean they love themselves.

This is my favorite interview of beautiful boy so far. The questions are interesting, sometimes they required complex answers, and we learn something other than “Carell did the office and Chalamet is a big fan of him”
@emilee70216 жыл бұрын
this guy is great at interviewing. he asks very in depth and thoughtful questions and includes every person he's interviewing. and he focuses on the important topics in a film rather than asking the same questions that actors and directors hear all the time.

I would've asked about Dune. Every movie and interview I've seen of Timothée Chalamet has me convinced that Dune is going to be one for the history books. His vulnerability, his sense of humor, his humility and at the same time being able to pull off a mean stare or a vacant expression of hopelessness, it's exceptional. Then again I've had the same hopes for a lot of newcomers with showstopping performances that eventually sort of sizzled out in between all the mundane Hollywood productions, but that's the cynic in me.
@avuhhh6 жыл бұрын
Hylss I would’ve asked about it too. I’m a huge sci fi nerd, so I can only imagine the kind of depth he could give to a character in a genre that’s had a lot of style over substance/great acting in the past few years.
@luxusmode1116 жыл бұрын
Or it could be a dud like Valerian. I don't know why, but I'm not too sure about Dune. It reminds me too much of Valerian, which looked promising at the beginning but ended up a flop. Dane Dehaan who played Valerian is a good actor, but he chose poor materials to work on (like The Amazing Spiderman) in the past years. But Dune will be high budgeted for sure. I guess it's only fitting that he's going to try gigs that are less independent-oriented. He's an actor afterall, and it would help him grow.

when i first saw the trailer for this movie, it broke my heart *because* the level of concern this father has for his son, the way he will do anything for him, i just know my parents would never go there for me. it's my weak spot to see movies about good parents. also of course steve and timotée together - this movie looks so good.
@perhaps-in-anotherdream4 жыл бұрын
I think you're wrong about that dear. Every parents love their children more than anything on this planet & they'd definitely go to any length to help you or see you happy. It's just the fact that some people aren't good enough or too anxious or confused in expressing the way they feel, or simply don't know how to pour their hearts out to some certain feelings but that doesn't mean they aren't there! Just talk to them...you'll see it works out.
@Bamgeutcutiepie4 жыл бұрын
My library oh shut up you delusional fool. You’re seriously an alien if you think sucky parents - who do not care for their children AT ALL - don’t exist. THEY DO. Good for you if you have good parents. Don’t talk on other peoples experiences.
@zhaikey4 жыл бұрын
@@perhaps-in-anotherdream my parents are the most loving parents in the world, they are amazing, but i am not blind to the fact that there are horrible parents in this world.. the other day, i watched a videos of a mother who were trying to kill her 3 children by driving their car into the ocean. Further, there are so many news about a mother abandoning her child in the street or a father raping his daughter. This world has many evil person and that evil one is probably someones parent.

I always thought that having a loving, caring family, where you can talk things through is all you need. My Mom is a bitch and my father did not care (lost him 20 years ago and miss him every day), we were never able to talk about things because of my mother. I developed a life long depression because of this but not a serious adiction. Watching this shows that even if you have all you need in terms of familiy you can still become addicted. I envy him having this family but apparently it was not enough. makes you wonder, what is enough? for me this would have been enough, it would have been all i wanted growing up happily, for him I guess it wasn't.
